This is a sleep meditation with some hypnotic techniques like imagery and moon gazing, body scanning, and counting to relax the conscious mind and allow your subconscious mind to do exactly what it knows how to do...sleep. Low theta tones are used in background to enhance relazation to guide you to sleep deeply. Thank you for listening!

Welcome,
I'm Anne-Marie,
Your Meditation Guide.
Now let us set the intention for this meditation for you to sleep more easily,
To allow your conscious mind to step aside and drift,
Drift on to a relaxation state as it allows your subconscious mind to do exactly what it knows how to do,
To fall asleep.
Just like your breath knows how to breathe,
And just like your heart knows how to beat,
The subconscious mind knows how to fall asleep as it has done many times before.
And so,
To begin,
Let's first find a comfortable space,
Lying in your bed,
Adjusting however you must to assure that you are comfortable and ready to begin,
And know that any time that you may have to move or shift,
You can do so,
Allowing yourself to become even more relaxed.
And now as you lie there,
If your eyes are still open,
I want you to focus on those eyes,
And take notice that they may start to feel a bit heavy,
Droopy,
And you may notice that they start to get even more heavier.
Going down,
Down,
Closing,
Closing,
Closing,
And your eyes shut.
And now with your eyes closed,
I want you to gently roll your eyes up into your forehead and imagine a little window where the curtains are pulled closed.
And as you open the curtains,
You can imagine looking out through that window and into the night sky.
There you will find a large,
Full,
Beautiful moon.
Imagine gazing up at that moon into the space in your forehead and continue to stare at that large,
Silver,
Gray moon.
And as you focus there on that moon,
I want you to take a big breath in,
Fill your lungs,
And as you exhale,
Repeat in your mind,
Relaxed.
Good.
Now take another big breath in,
Focus on that moon,
And now as you exhale,
Repeat in your mind,
Relaxed.
Now one more time now,
Take another big breath in,
Fill your lungs completely,
And now as you exhale,
Think to yourself,
Relaxed.
Good.
Now you can breathe normally.
I'm going to count down from five to one,
And when I get to the number one,
Your inner gaze will relax and you will completely let go.
Number five,
Focus all your attention on that big,
Bright moon.
Number four,
Keep staring at that moon as if nothing else matters.
Number three,
Staying right here now in the present moment,
Keep gently rolling your eyes up and keep gazing at that moon.
Now on number two,
Take another big breath in,
Fill your lungs again,
And now on number one,
I want your inner gaze to relax.
Let your eyelids be completely,
Comfortably closed,
And just let go completely,
Letting go,
Completely letting go.
And now focus on your body and notice as your head starts to get even more relaxed,
As you feel a sensation tingling down your head,
Any muscles loosen,
Release,
Going down your jaws,
Allowing your mouth to partially open as your tongue rests gently on the roof of your mouth.
You can feel any tension in your face drooping and dripping and sliding away as we go down your throat,
Feeling a soothing,
Relaxing sensation through your throat and into your shoulders,
Feeling as though a weight just released from your shoulders as they drop down,
Going down,
Going down,
Down your arms,
Releasing as you feel,
Even noticing a tingling or a light numbness in your fingertips.
As your fingers release,
Relax and rest comfortably.
You continue down your chest,
Feeling with each breath which becomes even softer.
You notice with each breath you relax even more,
Even more,
Going down with each breath as you continue to relax your body,
Relaxing physically,
So physically,
Relax,
Soothing sensation,
Loose limb and serene feeling flowing throughout your body.
And now that you have such a physical relaxation,
I want to show you how to even mentally relax yourself even more.
So when I tell you I want you to start counting backwards from 100 in your mind,
For each number starting at 100,
You will first say it in your mind and then I want you to double your mental relaxation as you make the number disappear completely from your mind.
You'll say the number in your head and then relax it out,
Sending it out of your mind and then doubling your level of relaxation as it goes away.
Then,
When the number is gone,
You will say to yourself,
More relaxed,
And then followed by the next number.
Again,
You'll relax that number out of your mind,
Going to double your level of relaxation by doing so,
That by the time we get to 90,
At that point you'll be so mentally relaxed that all numbers will seem to disappear from your mind temporarily.
Now at any point when you notice that all the numbers are gone,
You will simply say to yourself,
Gone.
All right now,
We're going to begin by saying 100 in your mind and then double your relaxation and send it out of your mind.
When it's completely gone from your mind,
Say to yourself,
More relaxed.
Good.
Now make it disappear and as you do,
Double your level of mental relaxation.
When it's completely gone from your mind,
Say to yourself,
More relaxed.
Good.
Now say the next number,
99.
Make it disappear as you double your mental relaxation.
When it's completely gone from your mind,
Say to yourself,
More relaxed.
Good.
Now the next number,
98.
Say the number in your mind and allow it to double your level of relaxation as it disappears,
Allowing the number to drift away.
Breathe with it,
More relaxed as you say to yourself,
Good.
Now the next number,
Say to yourself,
97.
Continue to double your level of relaxation as it drifts away.
When it's gone,
Say to yourself,
More relaxed.
Now the next number,
Double your level of relaxation as it drifts away.
And then say to yourself,
More relaxed.
Now say to yourself,
The next number.
And as you do,
Allow that number to drift away from your mind,
Bringing with it a mental relaxation.
Doubling your level of relaxation.
Continue saying to yourself,
More relaxed.
And now the next number.
Continue doubling,
Relaxing as it disappears.
More relaxed.
And now you notice that numbers start to fade,
Completely fade away now.
When all the numbers are gone from your mind,
I want you to simply say to yourself,
Gone.
Let your mind fill with absolute nothingness.
Drifting,
Drifting,
Drifting,
Drifting.
Your subconscious mind knows how to sleep.
Your subconscious mind is far more intelligent.
It knows just like a fish knows how to swim.
It knows just like a tree knows how to sway.
The subconscious mind knows how to sleep.
That it's doing it right now.
You may notice that you're drifting even deeper,
Deeper down,
Deeper down,
And letting your subconscious mind soak in every word while you drift more and more into relaxation.
Your body so loose,
So limp,
So floppy,
Just like a ragdoll,
Loose,
Limp,
And floppy like a ragdoll.
And your mind clear,
Listening to my voice,
Focusing on my voice in any space between my words.
As your conscious mind is drifted away,
Your subconscious mind is doing exactly what it needs to be doing.
Allowing you to sleep,
To sleep,
To sleep.
Letting go.
Because your subconscious mind is so intelligent that it knows how to control your breathing,
How to control your organs,
How to process nutrients and food in your liver and kidney and intestines.
Your subconscious mind is so intelligent it knows how to function your body completely automatic without any thought.
Just like it knows how to sleep without any thoughts.
Focusing on the body,
The subconscious mind,
Allowing it to do exactly what it knows how to do.
And it doesn't matter what's going on tomorrow,
The next day,
Or the next.
All that matters right now is here,
Right now,
This moment,
Hearing my voice lying in this bed,
Allowing your body to do exactly what it needs to do.
We can worry about tomorrow,
Tomorrow,
Or do what we need to do the next day.
But right now,
Right now,
All that matters,
All that's real are the words that I'm saying.
Like a lullaby sings you to sleep,
My voice relaxes you,
Bringing you to this moment,
To this place,
To this peaceful feeling that you created in your body,
That you continue to produce because your subconscious mind knows what to do.
Your subconscious mind knows what to do.
It's going to take you to sleep,
Sleep,
Sleep,
Sleep,

Sleeping,
Sleeping,
Drifting away,
Drifting down,
Going down,
Going down,
Going down.
Sleep now,

Deeper and deeper within,
Allowing your body to do exactly what it needs and knows how to do.
And if at any moment you find your mind wandering beyond listening to my voice,
Or beyond the spaces and the silence between the words,
Or beyond right here,
Right now,
In this space,
In this place,
Right now is all that matters.

Just good.
You're doing just what your body knows to do,
Which is sleep,

So restful, im an insomniac and have difficulty with all aspects of sleep, including getting to sleep. I donβt know how far in it is but I fell asleep and donβt remember after 98β¦! Thank you for sharing! π
