Welcome to this 5 minute intentions from the heart guided meditation.

I invite you to take a moment to set up either in a seated position or lying down.

Anywhere the body can remain comfortable for the next 5 minutes.

And when you're ready gently closing down the eyes if that's comfortable or softening the gaze.

As you feel the body settling into some stillness here.

In today's meditation we're going to take a moment to check in with the heart.

Check in with any messages it might have for us.

So you can set your intention for the day ahead.

So starting to notice the breath within the body now.

Noticing the qualities of the breath.

Is it fast or slow?

Is it smooth or a little textured?

Is it deep or is it light?

Simply noticing these qualities without any judgement.

And knowing that however the breath is in this moment is absolutely perfect.

And then starting to repeat to yourself within with each breath.

Inhaling I receive.

Exhaling I release.

Inhaling I receive.

Exhaling I release.

Keeping your awareness here on the breath.

And now bringing your awareness to the breath in the heart centre.

The middle of the chest.

Noticing how the chest moves with each breath.

Feeling as it expands on the inhale.

And falls on the exhale.

And with the awareness here in the middle of the chest.

In the centre of the heart space.

Starting to ask the heart for any guidance it might wish to give you.

It might be a single word.

It might be a sentence.

It might be a feeling.

So feeling into any messages the heart is giving you.

And then using this message from the heart to create yourself an intention for the day.

So this intention your sankalpa should be a short positive statement.

So taking a moment to cultivate your sankalpa.

If it doesn't come straight away that's okay.

You might choose to create your intention at another time.

If you have your intention ready now bringing it to mind.

And repeating it to yourself within three times over.

As you believe it manifesting now.

And knowing that you can bring this intention with you throughout your day.

Anytime you have a moment to pause or you need a little reminder.

Just bringing this intention back to mind.

This is your intention for you to hold and for you to use.

It might wish to change a little and that's okay.

So whatever your intention asking yourself how you can bring this through the rest of your day.

When you're ready letting the breath start to deepen.

Gently opening the eyes knowing you can take this intention with you through the rest of your beautiful,

Beautiful day.
