This is a practice of returning to your heart space,

Not to force anything,

But to simply breathe here,

To meet yourself in the quiet.

And so,

Starting by sitting or lying down comfortably,

Letting your body feel supported,

Letting your jaw soften,

Letting your shoulders drop,

And gently bringing one or both hands to your chest,

Placing them over your heart,

If that feels okay to you,

Letting your palms rest gently,

No pressure,

Just presence.

And taking a slow,

Gentle breath in through your nose,

And a long,

Soft exhale through your mouth,

And again,

Inhaling slow and steady,

Exhaling,

Letting the body begin to soften under your hands,

Feeling the warmth of your touch,

Feeling the movement of your body beneath it,

Your breath and your hands meeting the heart,

Noticing any sensations,

Letting your breath just be your offering,

Letting your hands be your anchor,

And starting to breathe directly into the space,

With each inhale,

Breathing into the heart,

With each exhale,

Feeling the contact of your hands as they sink into the body,

Inhaling into the heart space,

Exhaling,

Softening through the ribs,

The chest,

The shoulders,

Letting the breath move through you like kindness,

Letting your hands stay steady,

Reassuring,

Like quiet company.

This isn't about feeling love,

It's about being with yourself,

With your breath,

With conscious touch,

With presence,

And just continuing in this way,

Breathing into your heart space,

Allowing the energy of your heart to come more and more online,

And with each slow,

Steady exhale,

Letting her release all that you no longer need.

If you feel to,

You can even whisper silently within,

It's safe to rest here,

You don't have to hold it all anymore,

Choosing whatever words feel right to you,

Or simply letting the silence be,

Just continuing in this way,

Letting the breath caress the heart like a feather,

Few more rounds like this,

Simply being with what's here,

Allowing anything that's ready to release to move through,

And now letting go of all doing,

And just resting right here,

Noticing what's present now,

Maybe something's different,

Maybe it's not,

Both are fine,

But just checking,

You've just given your heart space,

Room to breathe,

Room to feel,

Room to be,

And taking as much time as you want or need in this space,

Only when you're ready,

Slowly opening your eyes,

Carrying with you some of the softness of your heart as you do.
