Sometimes --- morning meditation isn't enough. If you want to shift your mood, your being, your consciousness, how you're showing up in the world (so that you're happier, lighter, or have more energy) this presence practice is for you. I thought I was doing all the right things (meditation, visualization, affirmations, journal writing) and I still lost my cool by noon, until I realized --- the real practice, the one I was looking for, the one that would help me change how I felt and how I moved through my day was one of presence --- and it had to be an All Through the Day practice. This is that practice. I call it meing. It's the ability to snap ourselves out of mind wandering and back to presence back to ourselves. The science behind it is backed by Harvard. A study from 2010 found that the more present you are, the happier you are. Try it. It doesn't take long. But take it from me, things will change if you try this practice of presence all through the day.
