Hello beautiful souls,
This is June Bee and welcome to a beautiful night's sleep.
Thanks for being here for another in the series Bedtime Tales with June Bee.
Join me as we sit by a fountain and all the things we will discover on our journey to sleep.
So,
Let's get into your favourite sleeping position,
Making sure you are comfortable.
Close your eyes,
Relax your muscles and slowly imagine yourself melting into the bed.
Now let's go to your breathing,
Slowing down the heart rate and let's take some nourishing breaths together.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Last time,
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Settle in now,
Relax and get comfortable.
Listen to the sound of my voice.
If your mind wanders,
It's okay,
Bring it back to the sound of my voice.
Let go of everything that has happened today and let's go on our journey together.
Today we are going to have a little sit down in the garden by my favourite fountain and enjoy some well-earned me time and time outside relaxing for a few moments.
Where has all the time gone?
The other day it was cold and the garden was no place to delve into.
Now it is hot and the sun is way up in the sky,
Begging for your attention.
As I sit here in this peaceful and quiet spot,
I can literally feel the tension draining from my body and mind,
Drop by drop.
You may think it is your imagination,
Although there are real benefits to being close to a fountain which may surprise and delight you.
Now let me share with you some of the numerous benefits of an outdoor fountain.
So what could they be?
An outdoor fountain will provide unrivalled benefits to plants and wildlife.
Moisture released from the fountain will prevent your plants from wilting away on those hot and scorching summer days.
The flowing and bubbling water will attract birds,
Butterflies,
Dragonflies and bees into your garden.
Dragonflies will in turn help to decrease the population of mosquitoes around you.
Anybody that has been trying to sleep and there is one tiny mosquito in the room can resonate with the immense power that this little insect can have.
Now in my mind,
Reducing some of those bites is an amazing thing,
Right?
Fountains are beautiful,
Soothing and relaxing.
Did you know that fountains can also help to improve your mental health?
Here's how.
They add a sense of peace and calm by creating a soothing and relaxing environment.
A water fountain is a great source of relaxation,
Grounding and tranquility.
Water fountains create an environment that is both soothing and relaxing,
Which,
As we can guess,
Could help you to reduce stress and anxiety in your daily life.
They also help improve your mood by creating an atmosphere where you feel comfortable enough to truly relax.
When you think about it,
Water fountains can be a great way to connect with nature because they can help you to feel more at peace and calm,
Which is important for your mental health.
Water fountains also help people focus on tasks that they need to complete,
Which makes you more productive.
Did you know it's not just about the physical benefits of being in close proximity to a fountain?
Water fountains have been shown to reduce stress levels in people who live near them because they make them feel comfortable when they are doing something else,
Like working or exercising.
The sound of running water has been shown time after time as an aid for relaxation.
It makes us feel calm by filling our ears with tiny frequencies similar to those found in nature,
Such as a bird singing or flowing streams.
These tiny frequencies get us into a relaxed and meditative state without having any other distractions around us,
Like TV screens or other noises coming from nearby places where we don't want attention focused upon too much.
Surprisingly enough,
There are also benefits of an indoor fountain as well.
You know,
Those little ones you plug in and the water keeps on running.
Health benefits of indoor water fountains include improving your sleep.
Nothing is more relaxing than the sound of running water.
Relieving stress.
Not only can the calming sounds of a fountain help you sleep,
They can also help you de-stress.
They can restore moisture to the ear and purify your ear at the same time.
Indoor water fountains being a great addition to any home,
Especially if you work from home.
Providing a soothing sound and beautiful sights that can help you to relax your weary mind and give you a break from negative thoughts and other things.
If you suffer from anxiety or stress,
One of these would be ideal for your home because it will make you feel happier.
Water fountains for the home often come with additional features such as LED lights underneath them so they glow brightly when turned on at night and timers so you can easily adjust them to your personal preferences.
It may be hard to initially see the benefits of fountains although they are there.
Think back to when you were a kid and how much fun it was playing in the water at a fountain,
Splashing about and feeling an immeasurable joy and freedom.
Then I bet you'll agree that they are worth taking the time to be close to one or buying a small one for indoors.
Because who doesn't love the sound of water,
Right?
What a wonderful time I have spent being here by the fountain.
I feel at peace and very relaxed.
A great way to spend some me time.
I'm not sure about you.
I'm getting sleepy even thinking about it.
So I'm ready to let go fully and surrender to sleep.
Thanks for joining me tonight and as you slowly drift away,
Have yourself a great night's sleep.
And looking forward to seeing you again for another in the series of bedtime tales with June B.
Good night.
