Start by relaxing your entire body.
Your feet relaxed.
Your legs relaxed.
Your hips.
Heavy and relaxed.
Your lower back relaxed.
Your upper back.
Relaxed.
Your arms.
Your elbows.
Relaxed.
Your fingers and your knuckles relaxed.
Your fingers gently curling.
And your shoulders.
Free of weight.
Relaxed.
Your neck.
Free of tension.
Free of weight.
Completely relaxed.
The back of your head.
Heavy and relaxed.
And your face.
Soft.
Relaxed.
Try and bring your awareness to the very centre of your body.
The centre and middle.
Find it.
Once you've found it,
Stay focused on this fine point.
Your very centre.
And as you inhale,
Breathe in a breath from the base of your spine to this centre point.
The breath coming from your roots to the centre point.
And as you exhale,
This centre point upwards to your nose.
Inhaling from the base.
And exhaling from the centre.
And exhaling from the centre out through your nose.
Feel your breath move through your entire body.
Begin slowly to bring your awareness back to your position.
Recognising any points of contact with the floor,
The bed,
The seat.
Gently bringing yourself to a fully alert and waking state.
Start to move your fingers and toes.
And gently,
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
