Welcome.
My name is Jeremiah,
And this is a grounding morning meditation for purpose.
And before we move into the day ahead,
Allow yourself a moment to arrive here fully.
And purpose is not something you have to chase or force.
More often than not,
Purpose is something you align with when the mind quiets,
The body settles,
And you begin listening more deeply to yourself.
So today,
We begin with balance.
Finding your way into a comfortable seated position.
Resting the left hand on top of your thigh.
And slowly elevate the right hand in front of your face.
Closing the right nostril with your right thumb.
Slowly inhale through the left nostril.
And at the top of the breath,
Closing the left nostril and exhale through the right side,
Letting it go.
And then inhale through the right nostril.
Softly closing the right nostril,
Exhale,
Open the left side,
Breathe out through the left nostril.
And then inhale through the left nostril.
Softly closing the left side,
Opening the right side,
And allow the exhale to release.
And finding your own natural rhythm of this Nadi Shodhana,
This alternate nostril breathing practice.
Breathing in through one side.
Closing that side and breathing out through the opposite side.
Just back and forth.
Continuing at your own pace.
A ride in hell.
A left exhale.
A left inhale.
In a right exhale.
Back and forth.
Allowing the breath become smooth and steady and with each round of the alternate nostril breathing.
Notice the system beginning to balance itself.
Effort and ease.
Action and stillness.
Grounding and clarity.
Stay here for a few more breaths.
Moving right to left.
And left to right.
And when you're ready,
Gently releasing the right hand on top of the right thigh.
Taking a deep breath in through the nose.
And a calming sigh through the mouth,
Exhaling completely.
Returning to your natural breath.
And bring your awareness inward now.
Not toward everything you need to accomplish today.
Not towards pressure or expectation.
But towards what feels honest.
Ask yourself quietly.
Where am I being called to show up today?
Not perfectly.
Not all at once.
Just truthfully.
And real.
Purpose is not always loud.
Sometimes it arrives quietly through a conversation,
A decision,
A boundary,
Or the way you choose to carry yourself through the day.
And as you bring your awareness to the center of your chest.
Breathe into that space softly.
And silently repeat to yourself.
I trust the direction of my life.
And again.
I trust the direction of my life.
Repeating it over and over,
A quiet whisper to yourself.
And trust the direction.
Of my life.
Allow those words to settle into the body like seeds planted in the fertileness of your mind,
Your body.
Even if the path ahead is not fully clear yet.
Even if you are still becoming.
I trust the direction of my life.
Mm.
Take a few more slow breaths in and out here.
Inviting purpose on every inhale.
Anything or everything in the way of your purpose,
Allow it to leave on the exhale.
Letting yourself feel grounded in this moment.
And as you begin returning to the space around you,
Just remember.
Purpose is not something you find once and hold on to forever.
It is something you live into,
Moment by moment,
Choice by choice,
Breath by breath.
Taking one more inhale through the nose,
Holding at the very top.
And exhale,
Releasing this practice through the mouth.
Let the air go.
Thank you for being with me here,
This moment,
This day,
Today.
