The focus of our current meditation will be to find a sacred space within yourself.
At this moment,
I invite you to come to a comfortable seat or laying down.
Take all the time you need to set yourself up so that you're absolutely comfortable in a calm environment.
When you're ready,
Invite the eyes to close.
Take your time to just let your body settle into the stillness.
Notice now your breath.
Notice the way you're inhaling in this moment and exhaling.
Notice the sense of calmness and ease that is present with the simple idea of just slowing down and not doing anything right now.
I invite you to relax,
Perhaps your face,
Your shoulders.
Invite also your arms and your hands to let go and feel completely,
Completely relaxed.
Invite perhaps your hips and your legs to feel a sense of ease and letting go into the ground.
I invite you to travel your awareness to your torso and specifically in your heart center.
Observe the energy here.
Whether you feel your heartbeat or you feel an energy like a warm light or your breath even nourishing this zone.
What is present in this space?
Stay with your breath.
Let the whole body ease in now to this area.
Maybe this is an unfamiliar territory for you to travel.
We are so often in our thinking minds.
We don't permit ourselves to travel into this space,
Sacred space of your heart center.
Notice if you can cultivate a sense of ease,
A sense of gratitude and a sense of peace.
Let every breath be present into this space.
Notice this space as unconditional love.
Be that love for yourself in this moment right now.
Just breathe.
With every inhale,
You notice the expansion.
And with every exhale,
You let it travel all around.
Stay here as long as you need.
When your body is ready,
If you feel the need to linger a bit longer,
Stay here.
