Welcome back to The Flow Show,
I'm Joanna Turner and on today's episode we are going to do something a little bit different.
We spoke on the last episode all about the power of grinding and so today I wanted to do a special grinding meditation for you.
So it's a little bit different,
Make sure you are in a comfortable place where you're not going to be interrupted for the next 10 minutes.
If you are driving please don't do this and let's get comfortable,
Set yourself up somewhere you can either sit with your feet planted firmly on the ground or lie down comfortably.
So whatever works best for you,
Somewhere that you won't be disturbed.
So let's start by taking a couple of big deep breaths and just relaxing and blocking everything else out.
Nothing else for the next 10 to 15 minutes is going to matter,
Nothing else is important.
This is time for you to connect to you,
To the earth,
To spirit and just relax.
So take another big deep breath as you get settled,
Get comfortable.
That's it.
So I want you to imagine now a big ball of light,
A beautiful ball of white light above your head and we're going to invite this beautiful pure connected white light down in through the top of your head,
Through your crown chakra.
This is our connection up,
Our consciousness,
Our connection to source,
Where the information enters through the top of our head.
So I want you to take a big deep breath and just invite this beautiful pure white light all the way down in through the top of your head.
That's right.
And perhaps this beautiful energy mixes with the beautiful violet light of your crown chakra.
You might want to start feeling like that energy is spinning in a beautiful clockwise direction and as you do it you set the intention that I understand.
I'm open,
I'm ready.
And then as you do that take another big deep breath.
That's right.
Inviting this beautiful light down into your next chakra,
Your third eye.
You can imagine it in between your eyebrows,
Perhaps the pineal gland in the middle of your head.
And this is a beautiful indigo light,
This place of our intuition,
Meditation,
Trust,
Sometimes our deep knowingness.
And here you see things.
So I want you to imagine that beautiful light,
Perhaps it's spinning clockwise again,
Cleaning,
Opening your third eye.
And as you do this just set the intention that you'd like your third eye to open.
I'm ready to see.
That's it.
Take a big deep breath.
You might notice some things happening,
You might notice some energies,
Some tingling,
Maybe there's nothing,
That's okay too.
And then take another big deep breath.
This time we're pulling this beautiful light all the way down into our throat chakra.
That's right.
And again we're setting the intention for it to be opened,
To allow us to freely communicate,
To express ourselves,
To allow our creativity and our inspiration to come through.
And imagine here a blue light moving in a clockwise direction,
Starting to spin unhindered,
Clearly.
That's right.
I'm ready to express myself.
Beautiful.
And take another big deep breath.
This time we're pulling this energy down into our heart chakras,
Right in the center of your chest.
And the color here is green.
I want you to again set the intention to open your heart chakra.
Open your heart.
Allow the love,
Acceptance and compassion to fill your heart space.
Imagining that light spinning clockwise again,
Clearing out any old wounding or things that no longer serve you.
Allowing you to breathe deeply,
Breathing in and feeling the love.
That's right.
And then we're gonna take another big deep breath.
This time pulling this beautiful light all the way down into our solar plexus.
This is the area just underneath our ribcage.
The color is yellow and this is where our strength lies,
Our power,
Our determination.
This is when you say,
I do,
I can do this,
I'm ready to do it.
Are you ready to claim your power back?
Take a big deep breath and imagine the energy spinning in a clockwise direction.
That's right.
We are calling back in our power.
We are ready.
Good.
And then take another big deep breath,
Bringing this beautiful energy down into our sacral chakra.
That's right.
It's our womb space,
A couple of inches below our belly buttons.
That's right.
The color is orange.
This space,
This chakra represents our sensuality,
Our sexuality,
Pleasure,
Our sociableness.
This is where we feel things.
And then set the intention again,
I'm ready to open my sacral chakra.
I'm ready to feel.
That's right.
Feel the energy again spinning in a clockwise direction,
Cleaning and clearing out anything that no longer serves.
If some emotions come up,
Just honor them,
Don't judge them,
Just be with them.
This can sometimes be the hardest one to do.
That's right.
And now we're gonna take another big deep breath.
We're pulling this energy down into our root chakra.
This is the base of our spine,
Perineum,
Also known as the base chakra.
The color is red.
It represents energy,
Stability,
Comfort,
Safety.
And to be grounded,
Our root chakras need to be open.
So again,
Just set the intention,
My root chakra.
I allow myself to be safe.
I am.
I am safe.
I am connected.
I'm ready to be grounded.
That's right.
Take another big deep breath.
Notice that energy moving in a clockwise direction,
Clearing out any stagnant energy that no longer,
No longer needs to be there.
That's right.
And now with another big deep breath,
We're gonna take this energy and imagine this beautiful connected energy traveling all the way down our legs and all the way out through the soles of our feet.
And as it does that,
We connect to the earth.
We connect to Mother Earth.
That's right.
Now I want you to imagine this beautiful energy from the soles of your feet starting to travel down through the earth,
Down through the soil,
Past the rocks,
Past water,
Past all of the stuff that's below our feet,
Connecting deeply,
Deeply as you go.
And this energy,
I want you to imagine it traveling all the way down to the core of the earth.
And here it meets a beautiful crystalline energy.
And I want you to imagine those two energies,
The one from above and this beautiful grounded energy mixing and merging together.
That's it.
That's right.
And then I want you to start to pull this energy back up.
This connected mixed energy from above and below.
I want you to imagine starting to pull it all the way back up through all the layers that you went through below.
And pulling it back up.
That's right.
And if there's any places where it feels blocked,
Just allow it to move past.
That's right.
Bringing it all the way back up.
Connecting back to the soles of your feet.
That's right.
This beautiful connected energy is now going to come all the way up from the soles of your feet,
All the way up your legs,
Back to your base chakra.
That's right.
And I want you to deeply breathe here,
Allowing this grounded energy again to cleanse and clear anything within your base chakra.
That's right.
Beautiful.
And then we're going to keep breathing it back up.
We're going to bring it back up through your sacral.
Noticing the shifts and change.
Noticing the difference within the energy.
That beautiful grounded safety.
That's right.
And then I want you to breathe it back up into your sacral chakra.
Your power center.
You're now connected above but you have the power of Mother Earth as well.
You can feel it as palpable.
You're ready to go.
And then finally I want you to breathe it up into your heart.
I want you to bring this beautiful melded,
Mixed,
Connected energy into your heart space.
That's right.
And I want you to feel it expand.
I want you to feel this beautiful energy expand your heart.
Feeling loved,
Feeling connected.
That's right.
And then I want you to notice that you have now got so much energy within you.
You are full of light.
You are so full that you have more to give.
You have enough light that spills out of you.
So I want you to imagine this beautiful light starting to pour out of your heart chakra.
You have so much to give.
You have so much love and light to share.
It starts to flow out of you and it sort of surrounds you in this beautiful bubble.
So you become beautifully surrounded by this beautiful light.
You are protected.
That's right.
It doesn't stop the good coming to you but it protects you from everything.
I want you to imagine expanding this light out.
You know where some of this love needs to go.
Maybe there's a person,
A place,
An event.
Where needs some of your beautiful love.
I want you to imagine sending that beautiful love to someone that needs it.
Bless them with your heart.
That's right.
And now I want you to just sit and bask in this beautiful energy.
I want you to feel the gratitude.
I let that gratitude for life,
Gratitude for everything just keep expanding you.
Can you feel it?
Are there tears running down your face?
I can feel that beautiful love and gratitude.
Stay in this energy for as long as you like.
The longer the better.
Feel the gratitude and know that anytime you feel disconnected,
Anytime you feel things are too much,
Things are overwhelming,
You've lost your faith,
You don't know which way to turn.
Remember you can come back to this.
Reconnect above,
Reconnect below,
Reconnect to yourself and reconnect to your heart.
That's right.
Take some few more big deep breaths and when you're ready you can come back into the here and now knowing that at any time you can reconnect to that beautiful energy.
That's right.
