Hello and welcome to this guided meditation for letting go of the fear of judgement.
This meditation is designed to allow you to let go of the fear that you might be holding onto of what other people think of you.
When you're ready,
Find a comfortable seated position and gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in now through the nose and exhale out through the mouth as you feel yourself relaxing more and more.
I'm going to count down from ten and as I descend through the numbers you will feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed,
Ten,
Nine,
Eight,
Seven,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two and one.
You now feel in a more relaxed,
More peaceful state.
Bring to your awareness now the idea that the more that you judge yourself,
The more that you judge others and the more that you fear others judging you.
And in this process we're going to let go of the judgement that we might hold on ourselves so that we can feel more peace and more tranquility within ourselves.
So I first want you to acknowledge the part of yourself that feels judgemental of you.
Where in your body does it come up?
This judgement.
And as you identify that part of yourself now,
I want you to ask that part of yourself what age it is.
And as you bring that younger version of yourself to mind,
I want you to thank that part of you for being here.
Thank it for trying to protect you,
Trying to keep you safe and to feel accepted.
Let that part of you know that you are there for it,
That you hold a space for it,
That you accept it and you thank it for being there.
And let that part of you know that you don't need to judge yourself anymore.
And as you do so now,
Ask that part of yourself to let go of the judgement that you might hold on yourself.
Get permission from that younger version of you to let go of this judgement that you might hold on yourself.
As you do so,
Imagine that younger version of you smiling,
Free of any judgement whatsoever.
Now,
Thank that part of yourself,
Letting it know that you are always there for it,
That you see it,
That you appreciate it,
You thank it for being there.
Say goodbye to that part of yourself in whatever way works for you.
Now,
Acknowledge that when you judge other people,
You are likely judging yourself and projecting it onto them.
And that when you judge others,
You expect that others will judge you too.
And knowing that in this process,
Once you let go of the judgement of yourself,
You let go of the fear of judgement of others.
And now I invite you to mentally rehearse a situation where you might notice yourself judging someone,
To acknowledge that that is a reflection on your perception of yourself.
That when you experience that,
You can send love to that younger part of you that feels the need to judge yourself.
Go ahead and rehearse that process now.
And know that whenever you notice yourself judging someone else,
You can repeat this process and in doing so,
You let go of the fear of judgement of others.
Now,
Remember that your ability to let go of the fear of judgement is directly related to your ability to accept that it might happen.
Repeat these words to yourself now.
Others may judge me and that's okay.
I acknowledge that if others judge me,
It doesn't have to have an impact on me or my perception of myself and say thank you to the higher mind that will allow this insight to integrate into your subconscious mind and feel that intention integrating into your subconscious mind as you feel yourself free from the fear of judgement.
How does it feel to be free of that?
And know that you can repeat this process whenever you need,
That you have the tools within you to be able to do this always.
And that the more you release the judgement of yourself,
The more you release the fear of judgement from others.
Take another deep breath now through the nose.
Feel yourself relaxing as you exhale out through the mouth.
I'm going to count from 1 to 10 and as I send through the numbers,
You will feel your attention coming back to your body and your awareness coming back to the space that you're in.
1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6,
7,
8,
9 and 10.
And as you bring your attention back to your body,
Whenever you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes and come back to wakefulness knowing that you have taken the first step towards letting go of the fear of judgement of others.
And now as you go about your day,
You have the opportunity to put this into practice in your life and to let go even more of any fear that you might be holding onto.
Knowing that at any time,
You can just let it go.
Thank you.
