This meditation is called the Self Love Sanctuary Meditation.
Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down as you prefer.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Allowing your chest and abdomen to rise as you fill your lungs with air and exhale slowly through the mouth,
Releasing any tension or stress.
You're here to take a moment for yourself.
Everything you have in mind can wait for the next 10 minutes.
Be grateful.
You are here to take this time for you.
Now let's start the body relaxation process.
We will focus on each part of your body,
One at a time.
As we do this,
Imagine a warm,
Calming light gently embracing each area.
Begin with your toes,
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Imagine the tension in your toes melting away.
Move up to your feet and your ankles,
Breathe in,
And with each exhale,
Let go of any tightness or discomfort in this area.
Do the process at a time,
Moving up through your legs,
Your knees,
Your thighs,
Your hips,
With each breath,
Feel the relaxation spreading through your body.
Now focus on your abdomen and lower back.
Inhale deeply,
And as you exhale,
Release any tension in this area.
Shift your attention to your chest and upper back.
Breathe in peace and breathe out any worries or stress.
Move on to your shoulders,
Arms,
And hands.
Inhale relaxation in,
And with each exhale,
Let go of any remaining tension in these areas.
Finally,
Bring your awareness to your neck,
Face,
And head.
Breathe in tranquility,
And as you exhale,
Allow any tightness or discomfort to dissolve.
Now that your body is completely relaxed,
Imagine a large glowing bubble surrounding you.
Imagine this bubble as your safe space,
Protecting you from any negative thought or external distractions.
Imagine a place that makes you feel relaxed and content.
It could be a mountain top,
A peaceful lake,
A serene waterfall,
Or even floating in the sky.
You are still inside your protective bubble,
Safe and secure in this tranquil setting.
As you continue to relax in this beautiful place,
Focus on your breath.
Inhale through your nose,
Feeling the love.
Exhale through your mouth,
Feeling the positivity and love.
Energy fills every cell of your body,
And love also fills every cell of your body.
You are in your own love bubble.
Take ten deep breaths,
Slowly and mindfully,
Allowing the love to flow through you with each inhale and exhale lots of love out.
Begin those ten deep breaths at your own rhythm.
Now,
As we prepare to conclude this meditation,
Start to bring your awareness back to the room,
Feel the surface beneath you,
And slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes,
Carrying this sense of self-love,
Awareness,
And relaxation with you into your day.
