Hello,
This is Karen with Open Lotus Meditation and today we are going to heal our bodies,
Our mind,
Our spirit.
We're going to release what no longer serves us today,
Melting away all tension,
All stressors by doing a body scan.
This meditation is scientifically proven to change the physical structure of your brain in 56 days.
Let's begin by taking a deep breath in and releasing.
Let's do that one more time.
Deep breath in and release.
Gently allow your eyes to close and keep breathing long,
Slow,
Deep breaths in and innocent releases out.
Witness your breath,
The rise and fall of your chest and your belly.
Essentially we are cultivating our ability to witness,
Not just in meditation,
But for the rest of our days.
Keep watching your breath,
Witness your breath.
Your body is calming and you are relaxing.
And wherever you are in your life,
This meditation will heal you.
Maybe there is a weight in your heart or sadness or constriction or feeling of stress or anxiety.
It's okay to feel these things in our bodies.
This meditation will allow you to heal those parts,
Those blockages,
Those constrictions.
Slow,
Deep breaths in and release.
Now let's bring your attention back to your breath.
Witness the rise and fall of your belly.
Simply allow it.
Surrender to your breathing.
Now let's bring your attention to the top of your head,
Your thousand petal lotus.
Witness the top of your head and just relax it.
Allow all tensions and stressors to just melt away.
Witness and accept.
Just move down to your ears.
Allow your ears to just relax.
Moving down to your temples.
We hold a lot of stress in this area of our body.
Allow it to relax.
Witness and accept.
Moving down to your eyes.
Relax them.
Making sure you are not straining as your eyes are closed.
Witness and accept.
Down to your mouth.
Allow your mouth to relax.
Allow your jaw to unclench.
Witness and accept.
We can even relax our tongue by placing the tip of your tongue to the front of your teeth.
This is called fire point.
It's a great way to relax your tongue.
Witness and accept.
Move down to your shoulders.
Let them surrender.
Let them relax.
Move into your chest and your upper back.
Breathe into them simultaneously.
Let them relax.
Witness and accept.
And let's come back to your chest area,
Your anahata,
Your heart center.
If there are any blockages here,
Any constrictions,
Breathe into it.
Allow it to release what no longer serves you today.
Witness and accept.
Move down to your elbows,
Your forearms,
Your wrists,
Your hands,
Even your fingers.
Let them surrender.
Let them relax.
Moving down to your belly area.
Your solar plexus.
This is where your fire is ignited.
Allow it to relax.
Witness and accept.
Your tender belly.
Move down to your hips.
Feel them surrender.
Your pelvis.
Give her permission to relax right now.
Your thighs.
Feel the muscles relax.
Your quads.
Your hamstrings.
Your knees.
The front and back of your knees.
Let them relax.
The tendons.
The muscles.
Let them relax.
Witness and accept.
Your ankles.
Your heels.
The balls of your foot and your toes.
Witness and accept.
Now just scan your body.
From the top of your head,
Your dowsal and pedalotus,
Your crown.
All the way down to your toes.
Are there any constrictions?
Are there any blockages still existing there?
If there are,
Breathe into it and just relax it.
Let it go.
Relax every cell of your body.
Allow healing light to penetrate every part of who you are,
Of your physiology,
Of your heart,
Of your soul,
Of your spirit.
Allow it to infuse you.
Witness and accept this healing that is taking place right now.
And take a moment to just feel,
To accept,
To witness your body.
And now let's repeat an affirmation.
I am whole.
I am not whole.
I am love.
I am loved.
I am peace.
I am whole.
I am love.
I am loved.
I am peace.
You are so worthy of this healing,
Of feeling this relaxation and allowing your body to let go of what no longer serves you today.
Now let's take a deep breath in and release.
