As you start to settle in for the evening,
Allow your body to arrive into the space around you that you have created.
And to also arrive into this conscious space,
A space to release the day that was and prepare you for deep rest and healing.
Arrive here,
Where you are,
Whether you are seated or laying down,
Allow your eyes to close and let the palms of your hands face down beside you or resting wherever is comfortable on your body.
An invitation to go inwards,
To retreat and to connect.
Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale fully.
Inhale to connect to the body and exhale sincere gratitude.
Inhale quietening the mind and exhale calming the body.
Inhale a little deeper and now exhale through the mouth,
Releasing any tension.
Allow the breath to continue to move through you.
Reflect over the day that has just passed.
Without any judgement,
Let it be what it was.
Let it be the past.
Let your mind and body now prepare to rest,
To reset.
Visualise yourself laying outside with the earth beneath you,
Resting on the softest bed of grass that you have ever seen or felt.
And with the sky above you,
As you witness the transition from day to night,
The sun sets behind you and the moon rising in front of you.
Observe this transition,
The warm colours of the setting sun being replaced by the cool tones of the night sky.
As the moon gets higher and higher into the sky,
You feel its light glowing down directly over you.
You are in the direct line of the beam that glows from the beauty of the moon.
Let the moonlight wash over you,
Preparing you for an evening of rest,
To allow the innate wisdom of your body to take over.
The energy from the moon holds infinite potential,
Its magical presence possesses wisdom that you can feel through your body as it glows over you.
Invoke the luminescence of the moon.
Bathe in this moonlight,
Feel it flowing around you and through you.
Through its light,
The moon channels to you an abundance of feelings,
Thoughts and emotions.
Feel into each of these as they are repeated.
Calming,
Slow,
Peaceful,
Soothing,
Content,
Flowing,
Happy,
Grounding.
Safe,
Intuitive,
Softness,
Openness,
Wonder,
