Welcome.

I'm Kate.

In this short centering meditation,

We will awaken the movement and action of creativity,

The creativity that is always present and available.

Let's get rooted in the present moment,

Letting go,

Becoming free from time,

Just fully present in the here and the now.

Creativity is beautifully spontaneous.

We can access it through relaxing deeply and being fully open to the flow of life within,

Around and through us.

We move into this creative flow state as we release edification,

Judgment or our attachments to an outcome.

So let's begin.

Find a comfortable seat and when you are ready,

Gently close your eyes.

Allow your breath to move naturally.

Just notice the softness of the breath.

Allow the body to slowly release and let go of tension.

Begin to sink into your bones.

Sink into your seat.

Become aware of any tension,

Just gently expanding it into nothingness.

Release the space between the brows,

Softening the brows,

Letting go.

Seeing the neck and the shoulders,

Any tension melting into nothingness,

Letting go,

Relaxing.

Scan the torso,

The belly,

The low back,

Releasing,

Relaxing and letting go.

Allow the arms to soften,

Begin to feel their weight,

So relaxed.

Feel the weight of the legs,

The feet heavy,

So relaxed.

Take your awareness to the space between the brows,

To the vast screen of your consciousness.

Here in this open space,

In the space between the brows,

Begin to see a beautiful and sacred space for your meditation.

Perhaps it is a place you have been before.

Perhaps it is a place where you would like to be.

It may be outside,

It may be inside.

Begin to create in your mind's eye a sacred place,

An inner temple.

Allow the creation of this temple to just unfold naturally and organically.

What is the floor of your temple?

Is it made of wood,

Soft carpet,

The earth?

What is the floor of your temple?

Now what is surrounding you?

Are there walls?

Is it open space with trees,

Stones or vines?

Are there windows?

Are there doors?

Is there a ceiling in your temple?

Is it open to the sky?

Can you see clouds?

Can you see the moon?

Are there stars?

What is the ceiling of your temple?

What color is the ceiling of your temple?

See the floor,

The walls,

The ceiling of your temple.

Have a felt sense of being in this temple.

How does it feel to be in this sacred temple?

Is it cool,

Warm,

Ambient?

Is it quiet?

Can you hear any sounds in or around the temple?

Bells,

Songbirds,

Moving water,

Perhaps the sound of your own breath,

The hum of life?

Listen.

What does the temple sound like?

At the center of the temple is a beautiful altar.

On the altar there is a candle.

Watch the flame.

Is it moving?

Is it steady?

Is the flame high or low?

What color is the flame?

What color is the candle?

Next to the candle there is a flower.

It is richly fragrant.

What is the flower?

What is the fragrance?

Is it heady,

Light,

Sweet or pungent?

What color is the flower?

Next to the flower there is a slip of paper folded neatly in half.

See yourself holding this slip of paper in your hand.

As you hold the folded paper in your hand,

Ask your higher self,

Your wisdom self,

What area of my life is calling for transformation?

What is the newness that is trying to reach me?

What newness is asking to be expressed in my life now?

As you ask,

As you ask your highest wisdom self this question,

Begin to unfold the paper.

The paper appears empty at first,

But as you continue to ask the question,

You realize this is pure potentiality and from all the infinite possibilities there is an answer just for you.

A love note from your soul.

As the answer is coming to you,

Allow it to fill the paper.

Perhaps it is in a language you have never seen before,

Something completely new to you and yet you know how to understand it.

You enjoy and welcome all its insights,

All the information,

All the wisdom and clarity coming forth now.

Allow the calling for transformation to settle into the mind and body.

Now ask your wisdom self to reveal to you what that would look like,

How that would feel,

How would it feel to transform this area of your life.

Who would be with you?

Where would you be?

Allow your imagination to openly flow as you witness this transformation.

What emotions are present for you in this transformation?

How are you feeling?

Allow this transformation to be embodied.

Feel as though this transformation has already taken place.

It is already transformed.

It is something new.

And thank your highest self,

Your wisdom self for the generosity of creative flow that is now taking place all around you.

Cultivate gratitude for the images,

The information,

The visions and sensations of this new beginning.

Make the higher power according to your belief that the laws of life are already in motion and the desires of your heart for something new are spontaneously and generously given.

And in this gratitude,

This creative flow of energy,

Slowly let your awareness of your inner temple begin to soften,

Releasing it into the background of your mind and find yourself fully present,

Relaxed,

Yet energized,

Fully present in the space you are now in,

The here and now.

And take just a moment,

Take a pause before you open your eyes to acknowledge the creativity always present within you and all around you.

Acknowledge the powerful ideas that come through you and appreciate the amazing and unique ways that you serve the world.

And when you are ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Thank you so much for your meditation.

May it awaken the creative nature of your being and may it plant the seeds for transformation.

As you are awakened in creativity,

It serves all others.

Until next time,

Aum and blessings.
