I'm Kate B.

And I'd like to welcome you to this healing meditation with Cedar as our guide.

Take a moment before we get started to relax.

Settle into the space you're in.

If it's comfortable for you,

Sit up with your spine straight and your back supported.

Put your feet on the floor.

If you have a Cedar talisman with you,

Place it in your left hand gently.

You could also wear it over your heart.

Make any last minute adjustments for your comfort now.

Knowing there is a tendency of the mind to create distractions for you in the form of uncomfortable physical sensations.

Make your intention for stillness be stronger than the need to respond to these distractions.

Cedar is a powerful purifier.

It can help us to clear negative energy that's been trailing us.

It is also very helpful for showing us what we need to let go of.

What we have been holding on to that is no longer serving our highest and best good.

When you're ready,

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath.

Let your breathing settle into its own comfortable rhythm.

Now I want you to ask your heart and the wisdom of Cedar,

Its curiosity,

Its openness.

What is the thing that you need to let go of right now?

What is the thing that you need to let go of right now?

What is the thing that you need to let go of right now?

Trust what is coming up.

Even if it doesn't make sense,

It's okay.

And now it's time to let it go.

Loosen your grip.

Just let it go.

Feel the emotions that come up as you let go.

Let it all wash over you.

You are in a safe space.

Anything you truly need cannot be lost.

Now notice the new space that is created inside you.

Start now.

Be with this new space.

What shape it is.

Notice what it feels like.

How big it is.

Where it is in your body.

Now it's time to bring the energy of cedar into this beautiful new space inside your body that you've just created.

Allowing it to purify.

To make way for something new.

To make room for the thing that will elevate your entire being.

Bringing you into the threshold of your next chapter.

Now for a few moments without needing to change anything about your breath.

Simply intend your breath with the gentlest of ease to make its way into this new space you've created within you.

I want you to really be with your breath in this new space.

Noticing the rise and the fall of your chest.

Noticing all the new sensations in your body that this letting go has created for you.

Just feel all of the sensations.

And if you notice your mind wandering,

Gently call it back to be with you in this beautiful new space.

Every breath now breathing new life into this part of your being.

I want you to just be in this place with your breath.

I'll let you know when it's time to come back.

Slowly,

Gently come back into the room now.

Send a little thank you to cedar and to the part of you that was so brave to let all that go.

Allow gratitude to well up in you.

You'll know it's real gratitude when the corners of your mouth curl up.

Gratitude always shows you with a smile that it's here.

When you've been down that gratitude,

Take a moment to wiggle your toes.

Take a few deep breaths and when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.
