Honoring anger.
Find a comfortable position,
Preferably sitting.
And for this meditation practice.
You don't need to be relaxed.
You don't need to be anything.
Just be you.
This is your true presence in this moment.
And this is what you feel.
The power burning inside you.
In the shape and form of anger.
Anger is not a negative emotion that needs to be released.
Anger is one of the feelings of the huge spectrum of you.
And it's showing up at this moment for you to honor it.
You are here to honor your anger.
If you're sitting with your back upright,
Inhale and reach to the sky with the top of your head.
Drop your shoulders down like a queen or a king.
You own this situation.
You draw your boundaries.
And you burn everything that doesn't serve you inside the fire of your anger.
Feel into your chest.
Feel into your stomach.
Feel into your whole body.
And notice all the sensations.
I don't know if your body is feeling numb.
Or if you have tingling sensations all over your body.
Or if you feel fire inside.
Whatever you feel,
Allow yourself to feel it.
Be this feeling.
Live it with your whole being.
Your eyes are closed.
And you allow your anger to unfold.
You allow yourself to honor your anger.
Think of the situation that makes you angry.
Repeat this thought inside your head and feel it with your whole body.
What makes you angry about this situation?
What pisses you off?
What creates fire inside you?
Where do you need to draw your boundary?
What is your anger trying to say to you?
Listen.
Listen with your inner ears,
But also with your whole body.
By living this emotion,
By honoring it right here.
Inside your body.
You let it have its voice.
The voice that has been suppressed so many times.
Now it's loud and strong inside you and you allow it.
You allow it to be voiced inside you.
Listen.
What is your anger trying to tell you?
It doesn't matter if you receive a conscious answer shaped with words.
What matters is you hold space for the answer.
And you listen.
Where is anger inside your body?
Where do you feel it?
How does it feel?
If it were a physical object,
How would it show up inside?
You can use any metaphor that comes to you.
See it.
Smell it.
Feel it.
Live it.
Allow it to be inside you.
And with you.
A part of you.
If you feel like it,
With your eyes closed,
You can stand up.
And beat the rhythm of your anger with your feet into the ground.
Use your heels to beat the rhythm of your anger into the ground.
Give it a shape.
Give it a sound.
Give it a form.
Release it.
Honor it.
The sacred fire of the universe burning inside you.
And setting your boundaries.
As you step your feet,
Either sitting or moving.
You imagine a fire in front of you.
A big fire the size of you.
This is your anger.
You are drawing your boundaries.
What are you not willing to tolerate anymore?
What are you ready to let go of?
Whose opinion are you ready to burn in this fire?
Throw everything that doesn't serve you into this fire of anger and allow it to burn.
See it growing.
Engulfing whatever started it.
Honour your anger.
It has time and space.
It is here for you as a gift of God.
Let it burn inside you.
Let it burn outside you.
Let it burn,
Everything that doesn't serve you anymore.
If you want to step louder with your feet,
Do it.
If you feel like screaming,
Scream.
Let it out.
The animal within you.
The one who can stand their boundaries.
Breathe it.
Feel it.
Burn it.
Dance it.
Scream it.
Honor it in any way that you feel.
Honor it.
And now,
As the fire in front of you and around you is growing smaller.
As the fire is burning out.
Ask yourself inside.
What new decision will I take from now on?
What is my new behavior that is drawn from the boundary I just created?
What new direction will I turn to?
As the fire is burning away.
You are ready for emptiness.
Or more emotions.
Or maybe there is still anger inside you vibrating.
Whatever you are feeling,
Continue feeling it.
That's it.
And it doesn't matter if you consciously know the new direction,
The new decision,
Or if your subconscious has made it.
I invite you to place your hands in front of you,
To connect both of your palms together and to bow to this new direction of your life.
To the new boundary you have drawn.
To the sacred fire of anger.
That has brought you to this new state and a new understanding.
Bow to your sacred self and to your beautiful body that lived this anger.
Thank yourself for giving this time to you.
And remember,
Your anger will only take full control of your life.
If it is suppressed.
If you allow it and you honor it.
And you live it when it comes.
It will serve the purpose.
Thank you for doing this meditation with me.
Whenever you are ready,
Start to slowly open your eyes.
