This is a meditation practice to get grounded into a deep space of peace inside and to connect to mother earth, and from this space to acknowledge the deep and beautiful mission of yourself as a mother to love and to nourish. This practice is for all those mamas who may struggle with sleep, feeding their child, bearing their emotions, but they want to bring their focus back to the beauty and the power they have as mothers. Hello,

Beautiful mama.

This short meditation is to restore your nervous system and to help you bring your focus back to the most important person in your life,

Yourself.

Now sit comfortably with your back upright,

Preferably with your feet flat on the floor.

Inhale deeply into your chest and as you exhale,

You slowly close your eyes.

As you exhale,

You allow your attention to be slowly drawn back into your body.

And you allow your shoulders to relax.

You notice all the different sensations in your body.

They are like those waves of the ocean and you are the ocean.

Allow yourself to observe the waves that are going through your body.

Without attaching yourself to any of them,

Specifically imagine that your attention is the shower of love that you are giving yourself.

Thank yourself for being here and now.

Thank yourself for being with yourself,

For yourself.

Allow your shoulders to relax and allow yourself to lower your shoulders.

Your eyes are closed and you relax your eyes.

Your feet are flat on the floor and you feel your feet touching the floor in many different spots.

Relax your back,

Your lower back,

Your chest and your stomach.

Feel into your body.

The more attention goes inside your body,

The easier the energy flows.

The more relaxation you can experience.

Right here and right now.

That's it.

As you are slowly breathing in and breathing out,

You can taste the air that comes into your system.

You can feel your chest rising.

You can feel your stomach expanding.

You allow yourself to feel the surface that you are sitting on.

And with your eyes closed,

Your body relaxed,

You are reaching with the top of your head up,

Up to the sky,

Straightening your back even more.

And now you imagine that there is a bright sun hanging above your head and you inhale from this sun into the top of your head,

Your neck,

Into your heart and you hold your breath inside your heart.

And you exhale into your stomach,

Your pelvic floor,

Your knees,

Your feet,

And into the floor,

Exhaling the brightness into the earth.

Connecting your feet to the earth,

Imagining that your feet are like roots that are growing into the earth.

Right here.

Right here at Mother's Earth Foundation you find your support.

You feel the earth pulsating under your feet and you remind yourself,

She can hold us.

She has given us life.

She is here,

All-encompassing,

Full of energy and gifts for us.

And so am I.

Like a little copy of her,

I am a mother as well.

I nourish,

I love,

I give life.

I am a mother.

Say this inside yourself.

Own it.

Acknowledge you are a mother.

Feel the power,

The energy flowing through your body and remember that you love,

You nourish,

And you give life.

And you can do all of this to yourself first.

In fact,

You should.

Inhale deeply into your chest and as you exhale,

Start to slowly open your eyes and come back.

Give yourself a smile.
