Hello and welcome to this gratitude meditation.
Gratitude is a powerful process for shifting your energy and bringing more of what you want into your life.
And the quickest way to do this is by being grateful for what you already have right now.
This is a great session to listen to in the morning just after waking up.
Waking up with the sun gives us an excellent opportunity to begin the new day with renewed appreciation.
Take a few moments to bring yourself out of sleep into a light,
Wakeful state.
You may open your eyes if you'd like or allow them to stay closed.
Taking a deep breath in,
Invigorating your lungs,
Waking them up and giving your body a nice gentle stretch if you feel called.
Our thoughts are often scattered first thing in the morning,
Drifting to our responsibilities and everything else that vies for our attention day to day.
So before the mind wakes up completely this morning,
We're going to create a blank canvas.
Take a nice deep cleansing breath in and release,
Letting it go.
Clearing the mind of any leftover concerns from yesterday and any stress about the future setting an intention to start fresh today.
Place both hands lightly on the stomach area and breathe into them becoming more energized,
More alert.
Feel this invigorating energy flow underneath your hands and spread throughout your body.
Continue to hold your hands on the center of your stomach,
Your energy center.
Visualize the sun now.
Imagine it coming up over the horizon,
Seeing it illuminating everything it touches.
The ocean,
The hills,
The grass and your skin.
Feel it touching your body,
Warming it,
Waking it up.
Feel the sun's warmth on your face as you allow yourself to receive this solar energy.
Breathing it into your belly,
Your mid-back and side body.
Letting this golden energy recharge you and bring new life to you.
Knowing that you are worthy,
You are enough and you create your reality.
And now imagine,
See or sense the yellow sun at your core spinning in a clockwise direction.
This is your internal sun,
Using this fiery energy for cleansing and clearing anything that doesn't belong,
Anything that no longer serves you,
Any thoughts,
Beliefs,
Emotions that don't need to come with you into the day.
Releasing them now in the light.
Following your breath as you pull in this golden sunlight.
Energizing and stimulating your core.
Feeling it washing over and around you.
Invigorating every part of your body.
Knowing that today you can do anything you set your mind to.
You are confident.
You are motivated.
You are powerful.
Now let's repeat some positive affirmations to start the day off right.
Taking another deep breath in and slowly exhaling all the air out.

As you add some emotion to the words by truly feeling this gratitude blow through them.

So even if you are having trouble with some parts of your body right now.
Start by being grateful for everything your body does for you.

Feeling appreciation moving through each body part as you say again.
I am grateful for my body.
I am grateful for my body for exactly how it is right now.
Thinking of all the amazing things your body does for you.
It takes care of you.
Allows you to go about your day without you having to even think of it.
