Hello beautiful,
And welcome to our sleep meditation for this evening.
Close your eyes now,
And come home to yourself.
This day has asked a lot of you,
And you've felt the quiet weight of it all.
Not just in your own stories,
But through the ones that passed in the air.
Unspoken,
Unseen,
Felt and carried by you.
You were born with a soft radar,
A heart attuned to frequencies others may not notice.
Maybe they called you too sensitive,
Maybe you've wondered if something was wrong,
But you must know that this tenderness is not a flaw.
It is your power,
It is the divine made soft,
And tonight it deserves to rest.
So let's begin with the breath,
Breathing in slowly,
Let the air wrap gently around you,
And breathe out,
And begin setting down everything that isn't yours.
There are threads of energy still clinging to you from the day,
A glance that felt too sharp,
A room that hummed too loud,
A moment that lingered in your chest.
You don't need to hold it anymore,
Let your breath move through you,
Like a kind wind clearing cobwebs from an old window.
Let it sweep through your heart,
Through the chest,
Through the belly.
Let it clear the space.
You are not meant to carry the weight and the energy of the world,
Even though you could and even though you have.
You are allowed to lay it all down,
To offer it back to the earth,
To release it into the sky,
To trust it will be held by something greater.
There is a quiet sanctuary within you,
A place untouched by all the noise,
The feelings,
The flood of it all.
And as you lie here,
Softly breathing,
You return to that place where you are not absorbing,
You are simply being.
Feel yourself wrapped in warmth,
Not imagined,
But real warmth,
A loving layer of light woven by rest,
By softness,
By release.
Nothing can reach you but peace.
Your body,
So beautifully alive with sensation,
Now quiets,
Your chest slows its rhythm,
Your skin sighs into stillness,
Your heart finds its steady hum.
Just this,
Just breathe,
Just sleep.
You were never meant to harden in order to survive.
You were only meant to feel fully,
And then let it pass.
So now,
Let it pass,
Let it drain from the body,
Down into the bed,
Into the quiet earth below.
You are allowed this silence,
You are allowed this softness,
You are allowed to be held instead of holding everyone else.
Sleep,
Sweet one,
And let the stillness rise to meet you.
Let the peace of this moment soften all your tender edges.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
