Hello,
Beautiful.
Welcome to today's meditation.
I'm really grateful you're here with me.
Close your eyes and breathe into your body.
With each breath,
Breathe in just a little deeper and breathe out just a little longer.
Elongating your breath and letting it slow you down.
The flutter in your chest,
The racing thoughts,
The sudden waves of emotion,
They can feel like too much to hold.
But this is a safe space to set it all down,
To breathe again,
To find your calm beneath the swirl.
Take a long,
Slow breath in through your nose,
And then hold it for a moment.
And then exhale gently through your mouth,
As though you're releasing the tension that's been sitting quietly in your body.
Again,
Inhale slowly and exhale with sound,
Letting everything soften just a little more.
Perimenopause is a season of change,
And change can feel uncertain.
Your hormones shift like tides,
And with them your emotions rise and fall.
But underneath all of it,
Beneath the waves,
Beneath the current,
There is stillness.
Feel your breath find its rhythm again.
Feel the air moving in and out,
Like the sea against the shore.
Calm,
Steady,
And you are allowed to rest in the simple truth of this breath.
As you breathe,
Imagine your body softening from the inside out.
Your shoulders are melting,
Your belly is unclenching,
And your hands are loosening their grip.
Each exhale is a quiet release,
A gentle surrender.
There is a wisdom in what you're feeling.
The anxiety isn't wrong.
It's a signal,
A voice saying,
I need tenderness,
I need space.
Give yourself that space now.
Give yourself that tenderness.
Nothing is being asked of you but this.
To breathe,
To soften,
To allow.
If your mind begins to wander,
If thoughts begin to spin,
Just notice them.
Imagine them like clouds drifting through a wide sky.
Just let them pass.
Your body is finding its new rhythm.
Your hormones are recalibrating.
Your nervous system is learning how to rest again.
So breathe into your heart.
Let calm expand there,
Spreading outward like ripples in still water.
You are in a sacred process of change.
And peace is yours,
Right here,
Right now.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
