This meditation is designed to bring you out of your head and drop you deeper into your body to accept all circumstances currently happening. Any change first begins with acceptance. The acknowledgment of what is.

This is a meditation to support you in accepting the very moment,

In accepting the circumstances,

In getting out of any type of feeling or story that you need to be fixing something or pushing to get somewhere.

It is designed to bring you back here.

So find yourself somewhere comfortable,

Either seated or laying down.

When you're ready,

Close your eyes.

As you close your eyes,

Just begin to notice your breath.

Feel the rise and fall of your chest,

Of your shoulders.

Notice the air coming in and out of your mouth or your nose,

And just bring some awareness to the fact that your lungs are expanding and contracting with your diaphragm,

Gently all on their own.

Can you imagine what it looks like inside to see your lungs fill with air and then let it go?

Can you see your heart gently pumping out your entire body?

Can you feel all that is happening within your body on its own without you trying?

Even you listening to these words simply happens as the words meet your eardrums.

Certain choices create the environment.

You need to just do what it's meant to.

Just relax into that knowing right now,

Knowing that everything is actually okay.

Essential needs that you have all being met right in this very moment.

Lift your shoulders just for a second here.

Acknowledge whatever the truth is of the circumstances in your life right now.

The truth is that you're stressed or nervous,

Resentful about something that's happening.

You're sad,

You feel shame.

Whatever the circumstances are and whatever the emotional truth is for you,

Just acknowledge what it is.

Without any need to change or fix it or solve any problems.

Just really listening to,

Oh,

This is where we are.

Okay,

I'm here.

Feel those words in your body as I say them.

I'm here.

This is where I am.

It's okay.

But there is nowhere else I should be right now because where I am is right here.

Breathing that in throughout your body.

Come alive with that acceptance and that knowing.

Feel the oxygen fill all of your cells here.

Let yourself rest.

Rest in the knowing that right now is all you have.

Feel your heart open to that just a little bit.

Feeling it expand in you just a little bit further here.

This knowing,

Just allowing yourself to rest in this space,

Pocket of acceptance that you've created for as long as you need.
