
Speed Up Success By Understanding Your Consciousness
This talk takes you on a journey of understanding the quality of your consciousness so that you can embody it more deeply, and therefore call in your soul's aligned purpose. I share three stories from my personal life as a way to guide you through this understanding, and then I bring it all home with a simple yet profound way to embrace the embodiment of consciousness. Welcome back to Katie Lynn Lives where we cover the energy and strategy work in order for you to create your dream life.
Today's episode is all about how you can expedite becoming the highest version of yourself.
So something that I discovered recently is in the morning when I wake up,
Before I do anything,
Even before I get out of bed or open my eyes,
What I do is I set my intentions for the day.
What is it that I want my day to look like?
What type of energy do I want to embody?
What type of action steps do I want to take?
And from there I've noticed that that has improved my life so dramatically.
And this past week I came across a podcast where Tony Robbins was guest speaking and he said that every morning he does what he calls priming.
And this triggered for me a memory because last year I was in his Unleash the Power Within event.
I know that there was millions of people there,
He might have even been there too.
And he actually talked about priming and I remember at the time it just didn't sink in with me.
It was such a massive realization like,
Oh my gosh,
I have come to the same conclusion that Tony Robbins has about how to start your day.
But what Tony does is he actually integrates a couple different facets as well.
And one of those things is gratitude.
So this morning after setting my intentions,
I started washing myself over with things that I'm grateful for.
Just everyday things that I have gratitude and thankfulness for in my life from this space that we live in to being able to move my body to my dog.
It doesn't have to be anything extravagant because those things really are blessings.
And so I was able to fill my vessel with a lot of love and appreciation.
And from that space I was able to bring myself into kind of a space of very still meditation.
And I was able to really take notice of where my consciousness was putting its energy when I was following thoughts and then able to come back into myself and realize that no,
I'm not those thoughts.
And it was in this meditative state that I had three key memories come together and expand a new level of awakening for myself.
So I'm going to tell you three different mini stories and we're going to wrap this all together and put it into a package so that you can really take this into your own life and really expedite and increase the speed with which you are able to cultivate success into your life because I know that's what you want.
I know you want to feel better and I know that you want to see more external success too.
And so that's why I'm here because we are on this journey together and I want to be able to hold your hand and pull you up on the way.
So the first thing is I know somebody personally that has meditated very,
Very frequently for years on end.
And at one point in their meditation journey,
They were in a deep state of state of meditation.
They were their consciousness.
They were not doing anything else other than just being aware.
And they actually felt their consciousness leave their body.
They felt themselves move outside of their body into,
And they were in a sphere,
A small sphere right outside their physical vessel.
And this only lasted a few moments for them,
But it was a very profound experience because it really solidified the knowingness that we are soul,
Our consciousness,
Our awareness,
Whatever you want to call it.
We are not this physical body.
We are not the manifestation of our thoughts,
Our feelings,
Or anything like that.
And so this has really been something that I have taken home to me.
I mean,
You hear people on the internet talking about being consciousness,
Being awareness,
But when you experience somebody in your own life that has had that firsthand experience,
It makes it very real and it makes you want to dive deeper into your own conscious experience.
The second thing is there is a very intelligent man and creator that goes under the username Mindhackinghappiness.
I'll see if I can tag him in the description box below,
But I found him on TikTok and I was able to listen to some of his work,
Some of his podcasts many months ago.
And there was something he said that made sense to me at the time,
But didn't really fully sink in.
That was that your consciousness is like a body of water.
If your consciousness is small and you're not really in tune with yourself,
It's kind of like having a little puddle.
And if you have something thrown at you,
If a rock is thrown into your puddle,
It creates a ripple that disturbs the whole puddle.
It disturbs all of you.
But if you're able to expand your consciousness,
Then when a rock is thrown into the middle,
It doesn't make as big as a ripple.
If you are the ocean,
The little things from the outside that get thrown at you,
They barely even register on your radar,
At least not in the same capacity that they would have.
And so I loved this idea of expanding your consciousness,
But it wasn't until this morning that I was really able to dive deeper into what that means.
So before we get into that,
The third story has to do with Michael Singer and his book,
The Untethered Soul.
This is such a beautiful book.
I have yet to finish reading it,
But it has really profoundly changed the way that I show up in my life.
And something that he talks about is noticing where your consciousness moves to.
So if you are sitting on the sofa watching a movie,
Your conscious awareness goes completely into the movie.
You get ingrained into it.
You feel the emotions.
You might get scared or sweaty or excited or whatever,
Because you've ingrained your awareness into that movie.
And in a lot of ways,
We allow our consciousness to go into the thoughts of our ego.
We get wrapped up in the narratives of our ego,
Right?
Or we get wrapped up,
We allow our consciousness to move into the space of our emotions,
Which are running throughout our body,
And we allow our consciousness to move away from our center,
From our heart space.
We allow our consciousness to go into things unwillingly or unknowingly and kind of lose control of our sense of knowing who we are.
And so with these three things together,
I realized perhaps our consciousness is like an actual physical entity that we just can't see.
Because if we know that it can show up as a sphere or a shape,
If we know that it has the ability to expand,
If we know that it has the ability to move into different sections,
Perhaps we can actually think of this consciousness as something physical but invisible.
I'm getting chills as I say this,
So this is how I know that this is really spiritually aligned.
Full body chills,
You guys.
This is incredible.
I want you to start thinking about the quality of your consciousness.
Because what your consciousness is,
Is,
I believe at least,
A fragment of God,
A part of source,
A piece of consciousness that is larger than you,
That is connected to everything,
Because we know that everything is one.
And so the more consciousness you have inside of you,
The more you are able to feel love,
The more you are able to step into gratitude,
And the more you are able to manifest the highest version of yourself.
So if your consciousness came from heaven above,
It came from somewhere that we don't quite fully know or see,
The astral plane or the Akashic records or whatever it is,
Your consciousness was much more knowing before it came here and decided to link itself to a physical vessel.
But it had an intention of what to do in this lifetime.
And so the more you can allow that knowingness,
That consciousness,
To pour into your vessel,
The more you're able to live a life that fully expresses the intention of your consciousness.
So the question becomes,
How can we expand our consciousness and welcome more of it into our lives if we know that it has positive momentum?
The more we expand,
The easier it becomes to be in our consciousness,
To be the conscious awareness.
The answer is so simple.
It lies in presence,
In mindfulness,
And in gratitude.
It lives right here in this moment.
The past is gone.
The future is yet to come.
Your consciousness is living in the right here and the right now.
So the quality of the right here and right now is what you're able to experience.
The deeper you can dive into the juiciness of the present moment,
The better your life is going to be.
You're going to start feeling better physically,
Mentally,
And emotionally.
You're going to be able to notice the sensations of the world around you instead of getting lost in the thoughts.
You're going to be able to notice,
Hey,
What is it that I am supposed to be doing right now,
Not getting lost in everything else around you.
You find your center by coming home to now.
And when you are in this now moment,
You are fully you.
You are fully channeling the energy that is you.
So you have embodied the deliciousness that is your life.
And from there,
You can take the action steps that are necessary for you to manifest in the physical world.
So that means taking care of your physical body,
Taking care of your thoughts,
Eating the right food,
Getting enough sleep,
And on top of that,
Serving the world,
Serving your community so that you can create more value and receive in return.
If you just to show up crazy and sporadic and just mentally all over the place,
That energy gets put into your actions.
What you want is to create an intentional life where your actions come from a place of presence and love.
What that does is it actually increases your value because people are able to tap into energy.
If you want to expedite the process with which you are able to step into the greatest version of yourself,
You need to start practicing being present and being mindful through meditation every day,
Maybe even multiple times a day.
And then from that space of being so comfortable and having activated your parasympathetic nervous system,
Having soothed and calmed your body,
Then taking the action steps that might seem scary even,
But that are going to progress you further.
So I want you to start showing up for yourself and showing up for other people from this place of love,
Leading with your heart space from the right here and the right now.
There is no crazy strategy that is going to get you to success.
It is this daily practice,
This I would even say a practice that goes by every single second of every single day,
That is going to allow you to become more valuable and really creates the best version of yourself to show up in this world.
I know you're watching this because you want to be exceptional,
Because you resonate with this energy and you feel the desire to create a better version of the world.
You don't just want to be regular,
You don't want to be stuck,
You want to break through generational trauma,
You want to break into the next level.
And so this growth is going to come from you stepping into that highest version of yourself that is right here every single moment.
And I'm not saying that it's going to be perfect at first,
It might even be uncomfortable.
Push through the discomforts.
I've had so many people tell me,
I can't meditate.
You can meditate.
Every single human on this planet is capable of meditation.
It is an innate part of who we are.
If you believe you can't meditate,
It's simply because you've spent too long allowing your awareness to be flowing into things that are not yourself.
But you will come home to yourself and you will create a life of wonderful abundance.
So I want you to put your hands on your heart with me.
You can even close your eyes and take a big deep breath in and out.
We are right here.
We are right now.
We are thankful.
Life is good and we are going wonderful places.
