Transcript

We'll begin by settling into a comfortable position.

Allow your body to soften,

Your shoulders to relax,

And your hands to rest gently in your lap or by your sides.

If it feels good,

Close your eyes and bring yourself into this moment and into your body.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Really feeling your belly expand fully.

Hold it for a moment and then exhale slowly through your mouth,

Just allowing any tension to drift away.

Do this again.

Breathe in deeply,

Filling your lungs with new air.

Breathe out,

Releasing anything old or heavy.

One more time.

Inhale feeling a sense of lightness and exhale letting go completely.

Now,

In your mind's eye,

Picture yourself standing along rugged cliffs above the ocean.

There's golden limestone formations rising from the deep blue waters,

Sculpted by time in the tide.

The scent of the sea mingles with the warmth of the sun on your skin,

And a soft breeze carries the sound of waves gently lapping against the rocks below.

You take a few moments just to take in your surroundings,

They're so beautiful and grounding.

You decide you might want to stay here for a while,

So you sit,

Make yourself comfortable,

And just gaze off across the shoreline.

And as the sun begins to dip lower in the sky,

It casts a golden light across the landscape.

You just pause,

Looking out over the vast,

Endless ocean stretching before you.

The water glistens like a thousand tiny mirrors shimmering in the evening light.

With each breath,

Imagine the rhythm of the waves sinking with your own inhale and exhale.

You inhale,

And the tide flows in,

Filling you with that sense of calm.

You exhale,

The tide flows out,

Carrying away any lingering tension.

Now place a hand on your belly,

And take another deep breath in,

Expanding fully.

And exhale,

Releasing.

Breathing in,

Drawing in a sense of peace,

And exhale,

Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.

And as the sun begins to set over the horizon,

Painting the sky in soft hues of pink and gold,

You take in this moment of stillness,

Of deep relaxation.

The world feels quiet,

Expansive,

And beautifully at ease.

And then when you're ready,

Begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

And gently open your eyes.
