Namaste and welcome.

My name is Kristen Rose and this is a yoga nidra practice to celebrate this time of the lion's gate portal and the new moon rising.

A rare energetic opening for deep soul remembrance and radiant transformation.

This is a sacred time to reconnect with your heart's truth,

To embody strength and courage,

And to plant the seed of intention that will then ripple out and into your life and into your future.

Allow this practice to be a portal itself,

Guiding you inward to reclaim your light,

Your power and your purpose.

I invite you now to take a few tender moments to settle down and onto the earth to find a comfortable place where you can rest.

You may lie down in a supine position in shavasana,

Extending the arms and the legs.

Or you may prefer a supported sideline position or even a supported reclined or seated position.

Finding a comfortable position for the body to completely let go and surrender to gravity.

You may wish to use the support of pillows,

Props,

A blanket,

Or an eye covering.

Or you may wish to continue to make tiny little micro adjustments to the body so that you can become even 2% more comfortable.

Closing down the eyes,

Letting go of the grip of the external world.

Now your yoga nidra journey begins.

Allow yourself to be here now.

Allow the body to become completely still,

Relaxed and at ease.

The whole body becoming heavy.

Surrender to the gentle pull of gravity,

Drawing you down and into the support of the earth beneath the body.

Now,

This is a time for you to rest so deeply.

The art of non-doing and letting go.

Take a deep and generous breath in through the nose.

Exhale through the mouth,

Releasing any lingering tension throughout the whole body.

On the next inhale,

Take two sips of air in through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

The physiological sigh.

Again,

Two sips in to fully inflate the lungs.

And one breath out.

One more like this.

And release.

Allow the natural,

Unaltered rhythm of your breath to return.

Now that there is nothing to do,

Simply rest and listen.

Allow your awareness to follow the guidance of my voice.

Mentally trace three rings of golden light around the whole body now.

From right to left to right side.

The first ring of light.

A warm and protective cocoon.

Releasing the mind from any distracting thoughts or sounds.

A second ring of golden light.

To embrace warmth and relaxation throughout the body and mind.

A third ring of golden light.

That instills deep rest.

An invitation to turn inward and reconnect to your inner light.

Resting deeply in this cocoon of golden,

Radiant light.

Soften now into the darkness behind closed eyes.

Allow the eyelids to become heavy.

Allow the eyes to rest back and down.

Notice any tastes within the mouth or moisture.

Relax the lower jaw and the muscle of the tongue.

Notice any fragrance or aromas in the air,

In the nostrils.

The flow of breath.

Notice the gentle touch of air on the skin of your face.

Notice the texture or weight of your clothes.

Blankets.

The contact points where your body meets the earth.

Relax into these contact points.

Notice sounds in the space around you.

The sound of your own breath.

Turning awareness inward to welcome in the sound of your own heartbeat.

Your awareness of your own breath.

Turning awareness inward like a moth to a flame.

Visualize the single flame of a candle.

Shining so bright,

Deep within the space of the heart.

The inner cave of the heart illuminated by this candlelight that remains unwavering,

Untouched,

Ever-present and eternal.

As you gaze upon this light,

Begin to now welcome in your Sankalpa,

A heartfelt intention.

You may be working with an intention already,

Or perhaps you borrow one of the following phrases.

Am a channel for divine creativity and authentic expression.

Or I am aligned with the highest frequency of my soul's purpose.

As you call in your Sankalpa now,

Mentally,

Repeat it 3 times as you welcome your awareness to rest upon this inner light.

As you call in your Sankalpa now,

Mentally,

Repeat it 3 times as you welcome your awareness Burning so bright.

As you breathe into this luminous light that shines from within.

The light that holds the energy of Sankalpa.

Allow this light to be everywhere.

Stretching across the inner landscape of your being.

Welcome it to be here now.

Channeling that inner light and authentic expression.

The highest vibration connected to your true self.

The trillions of tiny little cells within the inner fabric of your being.

Embracing this beautiful light.

We will begin now to rotate awareness throughout the physical body.

As awareness moves,

Visualize a point of golden light illuminated in each region of the body as it is named.

Like the golden light of the sun.

Igniting warmth and radiance.

Welcoming awareness now to rest at the solar plexus or the navel center.

As you breathe,

This point of light expands into a golden orb.

Each inhale this light expands outwards.

Each exhale this light contracts inwards,

Returning home to source.

A luminous golden light radiating to the mind's eye center.

The point between the brows.

A luminous orb of golden light,

Warmth and radiance.

From the center of the forehead,

Turning this internal gaze,

The light of your awareness,

Down and into the throat center.

From the throat center down to the center of the chest.

The heart center.

To the right side of the chest.

Collarbone.

Shoulder.

Upper arm.

First finger.

Second.

Little finger.

The tips of the fingers.

The whole volume of the fingers.

Illuminated with golden light.

From fingertips to the right side of the waist.

The right hip.

Upper leg.

Big toe.

Second toe.

The tips of all five toes.

The whole right foot.

Right side of the torso and arm.

The whole right side of the body.

And left hemisphere of the brain.

Illuminated by the light of your awareness.

Golden light.

Cascades down and through the whole right side body and left hemisphere of the brain.

At the same time.

Slowly bring awareness back into the space of the heart.

Illuminating the whole left side of the chest.

Collarbone.

Shoulder.

Upper arm.

Alive with sensations.

First finger.

Second.

Little finger.

Tips of the fingers.

To the left side of the waist.

The left hip.

Illuminated by the light of your awareness.

Golden light.

Cascades down.

And into the upper leg.

Big toe.

Baby toe.

Tips of the toes.

Shimmering with sensations.

Illuminated by the golden light.

Cascades through the whole left foot.

Left side of the torso and arm.

Hand.

The whole left side of the body now.

And right hemisphere of the brain.

Filled with golden light.

The whole left side body.

And right hemisphere of the brain.

At the same time.

Both sides of the body.

Both hemispheres of the brain.

Illuminated by the golden light of your awareness.

Cascades down and through the whole body.

The whole body resting.

Luminous with sensations.

Of vitality.

Energy.

Inner light.

The whole body resting.

As you turn your gaze now to the natural rhythm of the breath in the body.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of the navel.

With each breath.

With each inhale.

Navel rises.

Belly expands.

The whole body filled with prana.

Life force energy.

Every exhale.

Belly softens.

Navel descends.

Returning home to source.

Connecting to your true self.

With every breath.

As the body breathes.

Bring awareness just above the navel.

Into the solar plexus.

You might visualize a little ember.

Shimmering in light and darkness.

Buried beneath the ashes.

As you breathe into this power center.

The ashes disperse.

And the ember turns into a little flame.

Each breath.

This light expands.

Grows.

And evolves.

Burning so bright.

Spreading warmth.

Energy.

The power of transformation.

Throughout the whole body.

As you breathe into the solar plexus.

Letting that go.

As you consciously now welcome.

The felt sensation of warmth.

Throughout the whole body.

Consciously invite in the experience of warmth.

Throughout the whole body.

As if the whole body were being kissed by the light of the sun.

Like you were laying on a warm beach.

The whole body becoming so warm.

Charged by the light of the sun.

Letting that go.

As you now invite in a felt sense of coolness.

Throughout the whole body.

Like a cool winter breeze.

The whole body becoming so cool.

And now at the same time.

A felt sense of warmth.

And coolness.

Simultaneously.

Take your time.

There's no rush.

Consciously invite in the experience of warmth.

A balance between fiery Leo energy.

And calm inner receptivity.

Releasing opposing sensations.

Invite your awareness now to rest.

At the point between the brows.

The mind's eye center.

And soften into the dark void of inner space behind the eyelids.

A vast,

Infinite,

Quiet space.

And into this realm begin to visualize.

Standing before a radiant stargate.

Made of sacred geometry.

10 feet tall.

Towering overhead.

A doorway of shimmering light.

Reach for the handle.

Gently open the door.

Light shines through.

Take a step forward.

And as you step through the doorway.

The portal.

You align with your highest self.

And your deepest truth.

Step forward with courage.

And inner strength.

Into who you really are.

The most radiant version of yourself.

Healthy.

Joyous.

Leaving behind anything that dims your light.

Continue to walk forward.

Step into your truth.

Your highest self.

Resting now.

As your authentic self.

Resting.

The light of who you really are.

Resting.

As pure,

Spacious awareness.

Allow your light to shine so bright.

To take up space.

To be a beacon of light.

A single point of light has the power to dispel a million years of darkness.

Remember your light.

It is now time to recall the essence of your Senkalpa.

I am a channel for divine creativity and authentic expression.

Or,

I am aligned with the highest frequency of my soul's purpose.

Whisper it mentally now,

Three times.

And slowly begin to turn your awareness back to the breath.

Sensing the gentle rise and fall of the navel with each breath.

Breathing into the solar plexus.

Stoking the fire of your inner light.

Begin to sense and feel the physical body resting on the earth.

The earth beneath the body.

Take a deep breath in through the nose.

Exhale out through the mouth.

And slowly release the three golden rings of light from around the whole body.

Allow your awareness to expand.

To gather a sense of the room around you.

The sounds that fill the room.

Returning back to a waking state.

You may start to wiggle fingers and toes.

Reach the arms overhead and find a nice long stretch through the body.

And roll over onto one side.

Take a few moments to rest here.

To remember your sankalpa.

To bathe in the essence of your inner light.

To notice what it feels like.

To step into your true self.

Your authentic self.

And may you take the energy of this practice with you now.

And spread your light.

Out and into the rest of your day.
