Hi,
I'm Laia,
Welcome to this morning intention setting meditation.
This practice is designed to help you step into your day with clarity,
Presence and deep alignment with your values.
So take a moment to settle into a comfortable position,
Whether seated or lying down.
And then soften your gaze or close your eyes if that feels safe for you.
Gently start to bring your awareness inward,
Allowing yourself to be fully present,
To breathe,
To connect,
To set the tone for your day with intention and purpose.
Take a deep breath in and a long slow breath out.
Let your shoulders relax,
Your jaw and clench and the tiny muscles around your eyes soften.
Allowing yourself to arrive into this moment just a little bit more with each breath.
Inhaling deeply and exhaling completely,
Releasing just a little bit more tension.
And now allow your breath to find its natural rhythm.
There's no need to force or control,
Simply observe the gentle rise and fall.
The effortless flow of life moving through you.
And as you settle into stillness,
I invite you to bring your awareness to your heart space.
And I invite you to feel the truth of the following words as you silently or softly repeat them to yourself.
Today I allow myself to exist fully,
To move,
Breathe and love as the truest expression of who I am.
I allow myself to inhabit every corner,
Every fiber of my being.
Today I create more than I consume.
I take action.
I embody my values.
I live my life with purpose.
Let the words sink in.
Notice how they feel in your body.
And if any resistance arises,
Simply acknowledge it and return to your breath.
Take another deep breath in and let it go,
Grounding this intention into your body.
And when you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Become aware of the sounds,
The temperature,
As you start to wiggle your fingers and your toes and eventually open your eyes if they were closed.
I hope that you carry this intention with you as you move through your day,
Allowing yourself to exist fully,
To create,
To embody your truth with every breath.
Thank you for practicing with me.
Until we meet again,
Take care of yourself and be well.
