Take a deep breath in,
And as you slowly breathe out,
Allow yourself to arrive fully,
Here,
In this present moment.
Feel your body grounded,
Connected to the surface beneath you.
Let your mind soften with each exhale,
And let your heart open with every inhale.
Now gently bring your attention to the gifts that surround you.
The simple blessings of this new day,
The air in your lungs,
The beating of your heart.
You may silently say to yourself the words,
Thank you,
To simply feel the gratitude rising within you.
Now bring your hands on your heart.
Feel your chest breathing,
Your heart beating,
The warmth of your hands.
With every inhale,
Imagine the feeling of gratitude getting stronger and brighter,
And with every exhale,
Allow it to expand through your whole being,
Like a warm light glowing from within.
Affirm with me now,
Silently or out loud,
I am grateful for this new day and all it brings.
I choose to see the beauty in every moment.
Gratitude fills my heart and guides my way.
Now gently begin to bring your awareness back to your body,
Feeling the connection with the space you occupy.
Notice your breath,
Your heartbeat,
The sensations in your hands and your feet.
