This is your five-minute meditation for returning home to yourself.
So you might sit or lie down,
Allowing yourself to be comfortable.
Soften or close your eyes and place one hand on your heart,
Bearing the pressure of your hand so it feels supportive and nourishing.
You might feel the other hand might rest it on your belly or in your lap or wherever it feels comfortable.
And then tune into your breath,
This life force energy moving through you,
In and out.
As you arrive here in this moment,
Greet yourself with kindness,
Just as you are right here right now in this moment.
Now feeling your whole body breathing in and your whole body breathing out.
On that exhale,
You might even sigh it out a few times.
Try this for a few breaths,
Your whole body breathing in and your whole body breathing out.
And now becoming aware of whatever you are sitting or lying on and allow yourself to receive this support.
Notice how your body responds to that support.
You might feel this sense of letting go,
Of relaxing.
And now softening around your eyes,
Softening your jaw,
Inviting your shoulders to move down and away from the ears,
Inviting your belly to relax,
Feeling your hips letting go,
Feeling your legs relaxing,
Feeling your arms relaxing,
And then fingers and toes just gently relaxing.
Feeling the cells in your whole body breathing in and breathing out.
And as you do,
Feel your energy settling,
Returning to you,
Feeling yourself landing here and as you do,
Say to yourself,
I am home,
I am home,
I am home.
Take a nice breath in and then sigh it out.
You are home.
