Settling Into The Layers Of Your Being

In this guided meditation, we relax the physical layer, the mental layer, and access the energetic wisdom and bliss layers of our being. You will be gently guided to experience your connection to self and to all beings.

Transcript

Welcome to your meditation.

Take a moment to find a comfortable seat or maybe today you'd like to lie down.

Gather all the support you need,

The warmth and then just begin to let yourself settle.

Take a nice full breath in and through the mouth let it go with a sigh.

And you might rock a little forward and back if you're seated.

Just a gentle rock forward and back and then let your body find the center.

Begin to rock a little side to side.

Just a gentle rhythm side to side and then allow yourself to settle in the very center of your being.

And as you allow yourself to begin to relax,

We'll take our time to walk through the body.

We'll become aware of the mind.

We'll sense and feel the energy flowing inside and as we quiet ourselves we become more aware of the deepest layers of our being.

We'll begin to relax now from the very top of our head.

Down the back of the head to the neck.

If it would feel good maybe circle your nose three times easy in each direction.

And then allow your head to relax right in the very center.

The tips of the shoulder blades begin to drop down your back.

Take a deep breath in and let it go.

Relaxing now down your spine all the way to the very tip of your tailbone.

Feeling your hips settle.

Relaxing down the legs all the way to your knees,

Down to your ankles.

Becoming aware of your feet.

Take a slow deep breath in and as you let this breath go let the hips and legs relax even more.

Let go of any tension in your belly.

Softening and releasing the belly and that relaxation flows into the chest.

The collarbones and flows down the arms relaxing from your shoulders to your elbows.

From elbows to wrists.

All the way into your palms and fingertips.

Noticing the relaxation of your throat,

The ease of your jaw,

And the face expressionless.

Relaxing in a physical layer,

A muscle and bone.

And once you've deeply relaxed,

Become aware of the spaciousness inside.

And inside the movement,

The flow of energy circling through you.

You might notice the pulse the beating of your heart or sense the spiraling of subtle energy connecting to the pranic layer.

The layer that's unseen.

The energy that animates your physical being.

Take a moment and begin to feel the energy of your legs,

The energy of your hips,

And all the energy swirling inside your torso,

Flowing through your arms.

And as you relax your throat,

Notice the space inside filled with energy.

And that energy flows and begins to light up your mind,

Your head,

Your brain.

Become aware of your entire body as pulsing,

Tingling energy.

You're allowing the awareness now to float into the mind,

Noticing the thoughts as they come and go.

Connecting to the mental layer.

And each thought flows one after another.

No need to pick out any one thought at all.

Just simply watch them float by.

The mind relaxed,

The body at ease,

The soft flowing energy inside.

And you might let the attention slide to the space between your eyebrows,

This wisdom center,

The third eye.

And just feel any tingling or pulsing there as the energy flows now to this wisdom center,

Connecting you to the intelligence,

The knowingness inside.

There's a part of you that knows so much more than you even know you know,

That sees so much more than the physical eyes can see.

Just allow that center to softly open.

Feeling warmth pouring in between the brows into the very center of your mind.

Take a deep breath in and let it go.

And now noticing the shape of your body,

The outline of your skin.

And noticing now the space beyond your skin.

Notice the energy flowing in front of your body,

Merging with the energy of the space around you.

Notice and sense the space behind you.

And on either side allow yourself to expand from the very center of your being outward,

Beyond your skin,

Beyond your physical being,

And merge with all that is.

Allow yourself,

Your energy self,

To grow wider and wider.

Deeper,

Deeper,

Out in all directions,

Connecting to source,

To earth,

And to all beings.

And now begin to gather your energy and bring it back into yourself,

From the front and the back,

Pulling energy in from both sides,

Drawing it down from above you and up from beneath you,

Holding it in your heart.

Feel yourself complete and whole,

Physical,

Energetic,

Mental,

Knowingness,

And connection.

And once again take a big breath in and hold it,

And a sigh through the mouth.

And when you're ready allow the eyes to open.

Allow the eyes to take in everything around you,

And you might still notice and sense your connection.
