Today is done.
In this meditation we are going to let it go and make our bodies relax and calm our busy brains.
Let's start with a nice gentle breath in and out.
If your mind is still racing,
Don't worry about it.
It will calm down and if it doesn't that's okay,
Too.
This moment is about you taking some time for yourself and care for you.
You've given a lot of yourself today and you deserve a break.
Take another deep breath in through your belly and out.
With your next breath in,
I want you to imagine that the breath captures one of the thoughts preoccupying your brain and attached to it.
Breathe in through your nose.
Now breathe it out.
Let the thought go.
Another one in.
Imagine the air captures your breath.
And let it go.
These deep breaths clear out your brain space.
Let's do another really deep one in through your nose.
And let it go with a big sigh.
Maybe today was really busy or maybe you know tomorrow will be.
Just let it all go now.
Right now this is all there is.
Just you,
My voice guiding you.
There's nothing else to do.
Nowhere else to be.
Just let it go.
And let it go.
And let it go.
And let it go.
And let it go with a deep sigh.
Now imagine yourself sitting on a dock,
Looking out over a beautiful,
Pristine lake.
The sun is setting,
But it's still nice and warm.
Your legs dangle down and you're looking out for a place you can relax with.
Your legs dangle down and your feet feel the refreshing water.
It's nice and quiet.
Birds fill the air with their music.
The crickets supplement their songs.
You have nothing to do.
Nowhere to go.
You just get to sit here and enjoy the peaceful views.
The water is glistening.
The tops of clouds float slowly through the sky.
The setting sun colors the bottom of the sky a deep orange that slowly fades into a deep dark blue overtop.
This peaceful place is here just for you.
It's your refuge when life gets busy.
It's the place you can calm down and center yourself again.
It's so perfectly calm.
You know you can always come back here and enjoy the peace.
As the sun is almost set,
You stand up,
Not looking back.
As the sun is almost set,
You stand up and walk back over the wooden dock.
Your bare feet feel the wood underneath and slowly step on the naughty planks back to shore.
You feel refreshed and calm.
You are ready to take on the world again as you walk back to the reality of everyday life.
