Welcome to your forgiving and letting go of the past meditation.

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position and close your eyes.

We will begin by taking five deep breaths in.

And inhale and exhale.

You are very relaxed.

You are in a safe place.

I'd like you to imagine yourself standing barefoot on a beautiful field full of grass.

The grass beneath you is bright green.

It is rich and full of life and vibrant beauty.

The grass beneath your feet is well nourished with plenty of warm sunlight,

Rain and soft soil to grow in.

You feel supported and nurtured with your feet in the soil on the grass.

You see clear blue skies all around you.

And there is a beautiful glowing radiant sun high above you in the sky.

There is a hill up ahead.

And you start to walk towards it.

As you walk to the top of the hill,

You can see a large hole in the ground.

And as you reach the hole in the ground,

You can see that there is a stairwell in front of you.

It's twirling around like a circle.

There is something drawing you beneath.

And you take a deep breath in as you take a step down.

With each step that you take,

The new breath is inhaled and exhaled.

Breathe in and take a step down.

Breathe out and take another step down.

Breathe in,

Take another step down.

And breathe out,

Take another step down.

Breathe in,

Take another step down.

And breathe out,

You take your final step down.

As you reach the bottom,

You realize there is a large door in front of you.

You are calm and peaceful.

You are relaxed.

You are in a safe place.

Behind this door,

There is someone standing there.

And that person who is standing there is someone who has caused you pain.

We are going to open this door.

And when we do,

We can say anything we want to this person.

We are going to tell them how we feel.

And we are going to accept their apology.

And we are going to apologize as well.

And then we will cut the energy cord between the two of us.

So that this pain can be no longer.

And you are going to feel so much lighter.

And this person will not be able to cause you pain any longer.

It's time for you to face this person,

Situation and pain in your life.

Are you ready?

Let's take another deep breath in.

And slowly exhale out.

And now you are going to twist the handle and open this door.

Standing in front of you is the person who has caused you pain.

You feel at peace.

What do you want to say to them?

Or do they need to say something to you?

This is a safe place.

You can say anything you want.

Now is your time.

Tell them everything that you need to.

You are going to forgive them.

You are going to forgive yourself.

So that you can let go and move on with your life.

It is time.

Repeat these words.

I love you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I want you to tell them anything you want.

And allow the person to reply.

I will give you some time.

Do you feel lighter?

Is there anything else you need to say?

Is there anything that this person needs to tell you?

Now we are going to say goodbye to this person.

And when we do,

We are going to wish them light and love.

And to continue on their journey.

We are going to cut the cord of energy between us.

So that a new relationship can be formed.

Or this past relationship is finished.

Thank them for the lesson.

It is time for you to let go and move on.

Envision a blue cord of energy between the two of you.

And with a pair of scissors,

You are going to cut it.

The energy is now cut between the two of you.

Remember,

You are in a safe place.

You are at peace and in harmony.

You are strong,

Brilliant and beautiful.

Now that the energy is cut between the two of you.

The past can be let go.

A new relationship can be formed.

Turn around and exit back through the same door.

In front of you is the stairwell.

You begin to climb back up the stairs.

Feeling lighter.

You have let go.

You are ready for a new beginning.

You continue to walk back up the stairs.

And you reach the top of the hill.

The sun is shining.

The skies are blue.

And beneath you.

You are standing on beautiful,

Nourishing,

Full of life,

Green grass.

You feel the soil beneath your feet.

The support of nature with you.

And you are excited for the day ahead.

It is a beautiful day.

You are a beautiful person.

You have so much love inside of you.

And you feel happy.

Relaxed.

Peace.

And excited for the day ahead.

You may open your eyes.
