A meditation for releasing overwhelm.

It's true that throughout our lives,

Emotions get stacked,

Kind of like stacking up rocks in a river.

The water has to find new ways to get around.

Today we are going to be removing some of those rocks,

Some of that blockage,

So that your energy can run cleanly through your system.

But first,

Before continuing,

We need to check in with your unconscious mind to see if you are ready to release some of the stacking of overwhelm in your body.

Is it alright with your unconscious mind for you to release the overwhelm and for you to have conscious awareness of it?

Check in for a yes.

And when you feel the yes,

Go ahead and light up the overwhelm in your body one last time so you know it was gone,

Right?

And now that you feel the overwhelm in your body,

Surrender to this journey of consciousness and trace it back.

Allow your unconscious to be the guide as you go back to the very first moment where overwhelm ever entered your experience.

The very first moment you decided that life was overwhelming.

The very first moment this was ever an issue for you.

You may not know it consciously,

The content of that event,

But it doesn't matter.

What matters is that you trust your unconscious to take you right back to the very first event when which you disconnected there will cause it to disappear for you forever as an issue from your life.

What's the root cause or the first event of this overwhelm?

This decision that life was too much,

Which if you were to disconnect it there would cause it to disappear as an issue in your life forever.

Was it before,

During,

Or after you were born?

Now as you find it,

I want you to find yourself in a place of safety before that event or any event that even led to it.

Just rewind the clock a little bit so you're now in a place where none of this has ever occurred and you are completely safe.

Take a moment to find yourself and as you're now in that place of safety before the overwhelm ever came,

It's time to rise above it.

Keeping your spirit high,

Rise all the way up into the air,

Out of this room,

Above the heavens and then keep going even higher than that.

Continue to float up,

Up,

Up and away until you're up so high you can see the entire stream of time of your whole life down below you.

And when you see that,

It's a sign to keep going.

Up,

Up,

Up and away until you're up so high that that moment,

That original moment,

Feels hard to even connect to.

As you look out now,

It's the size of a pinprick on the horizon.

Notice how tiny and insignificant that event looks down below from way up here.

This is called the learning position.

And as you're in the learning position now,

It's time to preserve the learnings.

What are the positive learnings for yourself and for the future?

When would you preserve these learnings now will allow you to release the emotion easily and effortlessly.

Just allow those learnings to come to you now,

Those learnings which have always been there and are so easy to access,

Which will allow this whole set of circumstances to serve a far grander purpose in your life,

A purpose it was always meant to serve.

And as you get those learnings now,

You might say them out loud or take a couple moments to breathe into them.

Fantastic.

Now I want you to take those positive learnings that you are now gathering for yourself and for the future,

And I want you to catalog them at the unconscious level.

Catalog them in that special place that you now reserve for all such learnings and catalog them in such a way that they change the future for you in a powerful and positive way.

So now if those learnings had a color,

What color would they be?

As you picture that color,

I want you to imagine an orb of light with that color floating above your head.

Turn the vibrancy up 5%,

Just a little brighter.

Now imagine that light is spilling down over your entire body,

Down your head,

Your neck,

Your arms,

Through your entire body,

Your torso,

Your pelvic bowl,

Your legs,

Down your calves,

Into your feet,

Filling up your entire body with that color,

Saturating every cell,

Every fiber of your being from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Amazing.

Now imagine if those learnings made a sound,

What sound would they make?

Imagine that sound emanating from the core of your body,

Encapsulating you in the color and the sound.

In all of the learnings and calibrating your cells to this new vibration,

This new way of seeing the world.

Now I want you to move right back down to what's called the release position in relationship to that first event so that you're in a position where you're still in a place of safety before the event occurred.

I want you to imagine you're floating up in the air,

Looking down on that event.

It's down below you now and it's in front of you.

And tell me,

What happens for you now?

Where did the emotion go?

And the decision?

Has it gone to?

Of course it did.

Hear a voice within you congratulating you on taking responsibility for your life,

Creating a life of peace.

So now let's test it.

I want you to float right down inside your body in that event so that you are looking through your own eyes and feeling the feelings of being right there in that moment.

And tell me,

Is that emotion there or has it disappeared now?

That's right,

It did.

Very good.

Now rise back up into the air,

Back up into that release position.

And I want you to take that color and the sound of your learnings and I want you to splash them forward along your entire stream of time,

Replacing any remnants of that old emotion,

That old overwhelm with the color and the sound of your new learnings such that they change your behavior without even your conscious thought.

Now I want you to stop and think of any event where you used to feel overwhelmed.

Recall an event and tell me what happens for you now.

Play the picture in your head.

Beautiful.

So now I want you to step out in some infinite time in the future where that old emotion of overwhelm may have hindered you or held you back,

Bringing with you the color of your learnings and the sound of your learnings as you imagine this future event and tell me what happens for you now.

Amazing.

Take a breath,

Fully cementing in your unconscious the releasing of overwhelm and breathing deeper into the color of your learnings.

Anytime overwhelm comes to say hello again,

You know exactly how to get back to your truth.
