This is a body-based meditation for deep sleep. It’s designed for moments when the body feels tense, alert, or unable to fully let go at night. Nothing is asked of you. There’s no visualization, breathing technique, or effort required. We move slowly through the body, inviting areas to soften without forcing relaxation. If tension remains, it’s allowed to stay. This practice works with sensation, gravity, and the body’s natural capacity to settle when pressure is removed. You can use this meditation at bedtime, after waking during the night, or anytime the body needs permission to rest. Nothing needs to change for rest to happen.

Transcript

Nothing needs to change right now.

You don't need to relax.

Bring your attention to the forehead.

Let it smooth if it wants to.

The eyes resting back.

Notice the jaw.

It doesn't need to hold.

The shoulders.

Let them drop or not.

The chest.

The belly.

The hips.

The legs being supported.

If any area doesn't soften,

Let it stay.

Nothing needs to change for rest to happen.

Notice the breath moving on its own.

No need to help it.

I'll be quiet now.
