Snippets of Wisdom,
Number 64.
Decide how your body behaves.
Is your body behaving the way you want it to?
Has it been acting up lately with pain,
Fatigue,
Or other health issues?
I've learned that our health issues begin with our dominant patterns of thought,
Maybe slowly over years.
Our well-being is so dominant that it can take many years of complaining about stuff before our bodies begin to break down under the energetic pressure.
When I found Louise Hay's book,
You Can Heal Your Life,
My mind was blown.
In the back of the book,
She lists diseases and illnesses,
Along with the emotional probable cause.
Oh my God!
I looked up all the diseases and migraines I had suffered for umpteen years and realized I did all that to myself with my chronic thoughts of complaining about anything and everything.
My victimhood,
My anger and resentment,
My body responded in kind,
So I had my body to complain about too.
Recently,
I saw this quote from Abraham Hicks.
Your conscious attitude or mindset or decision is that which your body responds to first.
If you're not making conscious decisions about the way you want your body to behave,
The transmitting and receiving cells literally start communicating with mass consciousness.
And so many of you have bodies that are experiencing a sort of mob rule.
They've been hanging around in bad neighborhoods.
They've been focusing upon illness.
My body was listening and responding to my chronic attitude,
Victim mindset,
And believing that I was a sickly person.
So my body took on my attitude and mood,
Which was terribly dismal.
I kept catching diseases that required more surgeries and drugs.
I was picking up on all that others would complain about and agreed with them.
I can understand how Abraham says that our bodies can experience mob rule.
The neighborhood of my mind was a decrepit,
Rat-infested,
Dangerous place,
And my body feared for its life.
If it could just get sick enough,
Maybe it would get my attention to move to a better neighborhood.
Fast forward to now,
I'm happy and healthy because I've worked on my attitude neighborhood.
I stopped my chronic complaining and try to nip it in the bud if I notice I'm getting sloppy in my thinking.
It's a much happier place to live with the sun shining,
Trees swaying,
And birds singing for joy.
Guess what happened to my body?
It quickly responded and began feeling better and better.
Now I mind my own business and I don't allow any mob rule over my emotions,
So my body is allowed to receive the pure well-being that is our birthright.
Decide how your body behaves by providing it with the best mindset neighborhood to live in.
Big hugs,
Mary Ann.
