Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or laying down.

Start by bringing your focus inward,

Softening your gaze,

Putting your focus in that space behind your eyes and between your ears.

Maybe closing your eyes if that feels safe.

Starting to soften your jaw.

Relax your shoulders down.

See if you can notice how your body feels against the surface beneath you.

Take your first full deep inhale and exhale.

Begin by bringing awareness to your heart space,

Maybe placing a hand over your heart.

And the other hand on the belly.

Start to settle into the natural rhythm of your breath.

Notice that gentle pulsing inside your heart space.

This sweet,

Gentle heart that's been beating even before you were born.

In medicine,

There are tools and techniques that measure the electrical currents of the heart.

The electrical activity of each heartbeat creates a magnetic field that is 100 times stronger than that of the brain.

This magnetic field extends several feet beyond your physical form.

This heart is not just a muscle,

But a powerful generator of energy,

Radiating so you can connect to the world around you.

Connect with all beings around you.

Breathe into the intelligence of this heart.

With its countless neurons sending messages back and forth to the brain.

Messages your mind may not always catch.

The heart's wisdom can be subtle.

What does your heart know that your mind may have forgotten?

Breathe into your heart space again.

Let those invisible wavelengths of inner light expand outward from your chest.

Fill this space around you with your light.

As you breathe in,

Imagine this inner light flowing gently downward,

Cascading down your spine,

Flowing through your legs,

Gently down your spine.

Gently finding its way to the bottoms of your feet,

And anchoring through the floor beneath you.

Like tree roots expanding into the soil,

Making their way to the soft,

Glowing center of the earth.

See this light from your heart space meeting with the magnetic field of the planet.

This earth that holds all of us.

That supports all of us.

Gather the nourishment,

The strength of this earth as you inhale.

Draw up this new supportive energy from the core,

Back through your roots.

Imagine this earth energy rising up to enter the soles of your feet,

Flowing gently upwards along your legs.

This light finding its way to the base of your spine,

Letting it elongate and lengthen the space between each vertebrae of your spine.

As you inhale again,

With your exhale,

Feel this light flow and return back to your heart space.

Hold onto the stillness of this nourishing light for just a moment more here.

Find safety in the unconditional love and compassion that lives here.

Now imagine this light in your heart space extend upward,

Moving gently through your chest,

Up from your lungs and into your throat,

Rising from the neck to your jaw,

And spiraling up to the crown of your head,

Flowing upward above the building you're in.

Making its way clear through the bright blue sky and into the atmosphere,

Merging into the quiet stillness of the galaxy above,

Meeting the starlight of those you love.

With the starlight of those you have yet to meet,

This is the universal magnetic field that infinitely embraces all of us.

Feel the universal love in the stars.

Gather all the stardust that comes from the universal love,

Letting this light stream back down through the atmosphere,

From the sky,

Down to the building you're in.

Softly,

Flowing to the crown of your head,

This light relaxing your jaw,

Opening your throat,

Flowing down to soften your shoulders,

And then finally to the crown of your head.

Slowly returning tenderly back to your heart space.

Sit quietly in this meeting place between the vastness of the sky above and the steadiness of the earth below you.

Rest now in this quiet pulse of your heart,

Can you remember your belonging here?

May all hearts remember their belonging in this moment with you.

May we always expand peace,

Love,

And gratitude through this magnetic field of our hearts,

Knowing that it is safe to be loved,

That it is safe to feel.

See if you can start to slowly drift back into the physical space you're in.

Begin to gently return to the natural rhythm of your breath.

Start to sense the safety of the four walls around you.

Start to notice the texture of your breath.

The textures of the surface beneath you.

Take one more full,

Deep breath in,

And exhale slowly,

Gently.

When you're ready,

Bring your attention to the surface.

Bring a little movement to your fingers,

Wiggle your toes,

And softly blink your eyes open.

What a gift it is to be here.
