Have you ever asked five people what they thought?
Even though.
.
.
You already knew the answer.
That is not a confidence problem.
That is a self-trust problem.
A lot of people think that self-trust comes from making the right decision.
Instead,
Self-trust comes from learning to stay connected.
To yourself.
While making decisions.
Confidence.
Comes afterwards.
I recently had a date,
A first date.
And I'm not here to talk about dating.
I'm here to talk about how I felt.
Afterwards.
And afterwards,
I had a pause.
A pause.
Something didn't feel quite right.
That pause.
Mattered more.
Than what eventually was going to happen.
Even if that date had turned into something fabulous.
Ignoring my discomfort would have weakened my relationship with myself.
That is a subtle.
But powerful distinction.
This is where you tie together.
Everything.
We've spent weeks talking about regulation,
Not because calm is the goal.
Because when your nervous system believes that you are under threat,
Your own wisdom.
Becomes really difficult to hear.
Clarity.
Comes before regulation.
Listen to yourself.
When you notice yourself reaching outside yourself.
Recognize what's happening.
Regulate before reacting.
That might mean breathing or meditating.
Reconnect with your body through those actions.
Reflect.
Instead of rushing forward.
And respond.
From your wisdom.
It's inside you.
All you have to do is listen.
I want you to think about one decision that you're thinking about right now.
Maybe not the biggest decision.
In fact,
A small one will do just fine for this practice.
Just one that's quietly.
Occupying space.
In your mind.
I want you to notice.
What happens?
When you imagine saying yes,
How does that feel in your body?
What happens when you imagine saying no?
Again.
Feel,
Feel inside.
Are you trying to convince yourself of something?
What have you already known,
But you are continuing to debate?
Just notice.
Self-trust isn't built.
In life's biggest decisions.
It's built in the hundreds.
And thousands of tiny moments.
When you stop arguing.
With their own wisdom.
If today's conversation resonated with you,
I invite you to join me for my live Breathwork session.
We will continue practicing what it means to return to yourself.
Not because someone else has the answers.
But because you already possess.
More wisdom.
Then overwhelm has allowed you to hear.
Confidence,
Is a feeling.
Self-trust.
Is a practice.
