Feeling a bit dead inside? Devoid of ideas, energy and inspiration? Tune in, look, listen and awaken to the liveliness that surrounds every aspect of our moments. How can I give? How can I create? How can I remain and follow my curious nature?

Hello,

Welcome,

Opulent mindfulness.

Today's meditation is entitled,

Inspiration is all around us.

Inspiration is all around us.

Thus the beauty of sitting in meditation.

Inspiration is a beautiful time for stillness so that all the noise that lives in your mind,

The chatter,

The stirring about of thoughts,

Ideas,

Experiences,

Recent events and situations,

They all have a chance to file themselves in their rightful place so that the mind can be clutter free,

Allowing us to better see what's in front of us,

To better hear what is coming up within us and to better feel the inner stirrings.

Come to your comfortable seat,

Take a big belly breath in and a long and soothing breath out,

Dropping in to arrive.

So meditation affords us expansion of our senses.

When I sit in stillness daily,

First thing,

I ready my mind and my heart and my abilities to go forth in the day,

Seeing clearly from an elevated perspective,

Feeling mobile,

Agile,

Making room for not only the tasks at hand,

But for curiosity to enter the recipe for your day.

All the ingredients,

Cooking up a very good,

Tasty,

Plentiful dish to enjoy,

Enjoying life,

Inspired by simplicity,

Inspired by what we witness,

Inspired because you're fulfilling an inner calling to extend yourself and create.

Press down through your base,

Lift your heart high,

Take a big belly breath in and a long and soothing breath out.

Inspiration is all around us.

The more we know,

We realize the less we know,

Continuing to fuel our curiosity and our engine for learning.

The more we learn,

The more we've trained our minds to continue learning,

Sharing,

Remaining curious and youthful.

Much like we can't be sad and happy at the same moment,

When we are in a state of learning and exploring,

We cannot be in a state of destitution,

Doldrums.

So choose to see,

Softening in the heart space,

Pressing down,

Lift your head high,

Change your view,

See further,

See greater detail up close and inevitably life will inspire you.

Breathing life in to you.

Take a big belly breath in,

A long and soothing breath out.

Inhale,

Making space,

Taking in life.

Exhale,

Excavating the dead weight.

Inhale,

Energy,

Excitement,

Life.

Exhale the dusty caverns of the mind and soul.

One more time,

Press down,

Lift your heart high and flush it out.

Maybe you feel stuck or stagnant,

Same old habits,

Different day.

Sometimes I get my best ideas in the shower,

Doing something that I do every day,

Routine,

Habits,

Same old thing every day,

Shower,

Shower,

Shower.

Well,

Because we have the baseline established and familiar in second nature,

Our mind can go and think,

Create,

Ponder,

Plan.

And then when that's done,

We start to whistle and sing.

So let the meditation be the routine daily habit.

And when you step off the cushion,

You can whistle and sing through life.

Take your time.

Do the mundane.

Let your brain rest.

Hear your breath.

Feel your breath.

And as we practice feeling the breath,

We can begin to feel the body as it relates to our thoughts.

As we feel the body as it relates to our thoughts,

We are practicing awareness,

Becoming awake,

To our being.

And this my friends is the sole purpose of the meditation.

Waking up to life and all that is around us,

The possibilities,

Breathing life into our life.

Press down and lift your heart high.

Take a big life affirming breath in and exhaling anything depleting.

Once again,

Inhale all that you need,

Breathing life into your life.

Exhaling all that does not serve.

Namaste.
