Today I want to talk about fear.
Oh,
Fear.
So you might be waking up today or one of these days thinking,
What the heck did I just get myself into?
Well,
That's just fear talking.
It's that part of you that wants you to stay exactly where you are.
It's trying to convince you that things are okay.
And let me tell you,
It is one smart part of you.
It has actually been manipulating you for a really long time.
And right now it's going to come out kicking and screaming because you are challenging it on a whole new level.
And as you come out with this new strength to challenge your old friend fear,
It is going to meet you with the same level of strength,
Frankly,
To try to wear you down.
So you really have to want it right now.
Fear is not going to go down easy.
It is going to show up in these interesting,
Creative ways.
So pay attention.
The important thing right now is that you stay calm,
Stay very steady.
Coming back to your commitment to your planning and realize that this fear rearing its head is just a part of the process.
It actually means that you're starting to make a change.
So as you begin to create this new relationship with fear,
You will soon come to learn that fear,
If you allow it,
Can be your guide showing you where to go next.
Fear will start to be like a flashlight,
Not representing the dark anymore,
But illuminating your path forward.
Fear can be beautiful because it means that you are challenging yourself.
It means you are pushing out of your comfort zones.
It means that you are saying no to being where you are in the familiar,
In the comfortable,
And in the things that keep you stagnant because fear loves stagnation.
So movement is a way out of fear,
Mental movement,
Physical movement,
Any movement.
Get up and move.
Fear cannot live in the present moment.
Get present with your life.
Under the big umbrella of change is what I call your emotional portfolio.
And fear is just one of these emotions.
Fear is a part of life.
So getting to know your relationship with it and how you want to move through it will serve you well.
One time I heard that fear stands for false evidence appearing real.
So you bust that illusion and keep moving through because I know you can do it.
So I wish for you to embrace your fears,
Embrace all your emotions today,
And reach out if you need anything.
