For this meditation,
I invite you to bring your awareness into the room and into your body.
Just notice your body in the room.
And if you're sitting on a chair or on a cushion,
Bring your awareness to your sit bones,
The weight of them.
Perhaps feel your back against the chair or your back as it sits upright on a cushion.
And take a deep breath.
Allow your eyes to close and bring your awareness inside your body as if you are watching your breath from the inside.
You might feel your breath at your abdomen or perhaps your ribs or your chest,
Your nostrils,
And for some people,
Your whole body breathing.
Wherever you feel that your body is breathing,
Bring your attention there and feel your body as it moves in and out,
Up and down as the breath is brought in and released.
We will practice the breath coming in and coming out in silence for just a moment or two.
And you will hear a soft bell to let you know that the meditation is over.
