That's it,

Stretch,

Let yourself stretch,

Holding that position,

And now relax and welcome back from your slumber.

Hopefully you've had a wonderful week and that you experienced time to prepare for your weekend.

I know many people feel like Saturday is a catch-up day.

I've got so many things to do,

And I hope you've given yourself some time this morning to just be lazy,

To start your day off slowly,

To give yourself a few moments this morning,

To set a powerful and positive intention for this day,

For this first day of your weekend,

Saturday,

And allow for Saturday to unfold in its own natural rhythm before you.

And so let yourself slow down a bit and grab hold of this day to enjoy each and every moment.

Today I'm going to suggest focusing on becoming more sensual.

Being sensual means being in the present moment,

Being aware of your senses.

What that means is that when you walk down the street,

You feel the sunlight on your face.

You smell the freshness of the air.

You feel the shift of your clothing against your skin.

When you're eating,

You actually taste the food that you're consuming.

You're present in your senses,

All five of your senses.

That's what it means to be sensual.

And when you are sensual,

You become more grounded and focused,

And you enjoy being in the present moment.

Right now,

As you're there,

I want you to feel your body and notice whatever position you're in.

Feel the support beneath you,

And let yourself be very present in this moment.

Begin to notice the smells in the room.

Feel the temperature.

Is it warm or cool or just right?

I'm sure today you have errands to run and things to clean and maintain to keep your daily lifestyle the way you like it.

Know that today you can accomplish all that you set out to do,

And that you can do so in a very smooth way with little or no struggle at all.

As a matter of fact,

Decide right now that if you have some places to go,

Some errands to run,

That today,

Everywhere you end up,

It will be smooth and easy,

And you will achieve all of your catch-up chores in record time.

Decide right now to let today be effortless,

Without struggle,

And be sure as well to spend at least 75% of today pampering yourself,

Rejuvenating,

Restoring,

And having fun.

Pleasure is one of the greatest ways that people can rejuvenate on a deep level,

A way they can restore and recharge their batteries.

Let yourself experience pleasure and have fun at least 75% of today.

Take some time to visit friends and enjoy time off,

Exploring recreational activities,

And that means that if you are awake for 16 hours a day,

Considering that most people sleep 8 hours a night,

That you will dedicate 4 hours,

About 25%,

Of getting caught up on your chores and doing everything you would like to accomplish within those 4 hours so that the rest of the day you can completely enjoy the pleasure of the moment.

Let the remaining 12 hours be yours to just enjoy,

Rejuvenate,

Without feeling guilty.

Decide now that you do deserve it,

And that it's going to be an amazing weekend,

So that on Monday morning you will feel totally rejuvenated and experience a more positive week next week.

Let yourself sense all of the sensations around you,

The physical sensation of your body,

The temperature,

The smells,

And just be in the present moment for a few moments.

Right now,

I want you to think of 5 things that you would like to accomplish today.

Just 5 activities,

Errands,

Or chores,

That once those 5 things are completed,

You can relax and enjoy the rest of your day.

You'll be free to explore any activity that you desire,

Without any guilt,

Without any feeling that you shouldn't enjoy yourself.

Think of those 5 things,

Commit to doing them within a 4 hour time frame or less,

And then give yourself permission to enjoy the rest of your day,

To let go of that feeling of guilt and focus on the fun,

The joy,

And the celebration of a new weekend,

Of having a wonderful Saturday.

As you're lying there,

Just listen to the music and let yourself sense those 5 activities you would like to accomplish today,

And that once those 5 activities are done,

That you can check them off your to-do list,

And spend the rest of your day doing whatever it is you like.

Reflect now,

Begin to visualize yourself achieving all of your goals,

All of those activities that you feel confident you can do within 4 hours,

Knowing that the rest of the day of your waking hours,

You can spend in pleasure,

Enjoying your weekend.

Everything falls into synchronization as you set your intention to meet those goals for today.

Your subconscious mind will focus your attention into alignment with the timing of every event,

So that you will show up at the bank,

Or the post office,

Or the drug store,

Wherever you go and there won't be any delays or lines to stand in,

Things will flow smoothly.

Your subconscious mind knows how to align you so that everything flows very smoothly throughout your day,

As you listen to your intuition,

Knowing that today will be a great day.

Spend a few moments thinking about something that would bring you great pleasure,

That you would enjoy doing this weekend.

Let yourself open to receive some new way to enjoy your weekend,

That will bring you great fun this day.

Now take in a deep breath,

Feel the oxygen expanding your chest,

Your lungs,

As you exhale then feeling the deflation of your lungs,

Decide you are going to have an amazing weekend.

Take in another deep breath,

Filling your body with life-giving oxygen that blesses and refreshes all of the cells of your body,

Inhaling and exhaling,

As you open to celebration and spontaneous,

Fun-filled ideas and activities coming into your life this weekend.

Continue now to stretch your body and to get about your day,

Knowing that today is going to be an effortless day.

As I count from one to three,

At the count of three opening your eyes,

Coming back to full awakening consciousness.

One,

Two,

Coming up slowly,

And three,

Take in another deep breath,

Stretching your body and welcome to a wonderful weekend.

I love the emphasis on balance. Too often Saturday is for chores with a longing for play—this gives a frame for both.
