Welcome to day two of your mindfulness challenge.

Today we'll be listening to sounds outside the room you're in.

Sit comfortably,

You can close your eyes or take your gaze down.

Using those same antenna that we used yesterday,

Find one sound you can hear outside the room you're in.

It could be in the room next door to you or out in the hallway.

Maybe you hear sounds out the window on the street,

Such as cars or birds or people talking.

What kind of sounds do you hear far away from where you are right now?

Your mind starts to think about other things and loses the sound.

Just bring your attention back to sounds outside and far away from you.

Put one hand on your belly,

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Open your eyes.

Very good.
