Hello,

Today's meditation is all about love and kindness.

So before we get started,

Go ahead and find yourself a comfortable physician.

You may be seated or lying down,

Maybe on the floor,

On the couch,

On your bed,

Maybe on a yoga mat.

Whatever feels right for you at this moment.

Maybe you have some pillows or blankets just to help make this spot comfy and cozy.

Once you're there,

Just go ahead and settle in.

If you're comfortable and you want to close your eyes,

Please feel free to do that.

And if not,

That's perfectly okay.

Maybe you just soften your gaze a bit.

So now that we're settled in,

Let's take a few deep breaths together.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out your mouth.

Another deep breath in and out.

One last deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Now I'd like you to imagine a bunch of hearts floating in the sky,

All different sizes and colors.

Do you notice really big hearts?

What about tiny hearts?

Maybe you see hearts everywhere in between.

What colors do you see?

Are your hearts maybe different shades of one color,

Like maybe red?

Or do you see hearts in every color of the rainbow?

There's no right or wrong.

These hearts are for you.

So whatever sizes and colors you see are exactly how they're meant to be.

Now notice these floating hearts coming towards you.

Each heart enters into your heart,

Making it bigger,

Warmer,

And kinder so you can love more and more.

Imagine your heart so filled with love that it's about to explode with all of the love and kindness that has filled it.

For your family,

Your parents,

Siblings,

Grandparents,

Aunts,

Uncles,

Cousins.

Love for your friends,

From your neighborhood,

From school,

From your activities.

But most importantly,

Love for yourself.

The amazing,

Fantastic,

Wonderful you.

So now that our hearts are so filled up with all of this love and all of this kindness,

We are going to share it with others.

So first,

I want you to think of someone in your family that you want to share this love and kindness with.

Imagine them in your mind.

And when you're ready,

Place your hand on your heart and repeat after me.

I want you to be happy.

I want you to be healthy and safe.

I want you to be peaceful.

Know that your family member is filled with the love and kindness that you sent them.

Next,

Think of a friend that you want to share this love and kindness with.

Imagine them in your mind.

And when you're ready,

Place your hand on your heart and repeat after me.

I want you to be happy.

I want you to be healthy and safe.

I want you to be peaceful.

Know that your friend is filled with the love and kindness that you sent to them.

Now think of yourself and how you want to share this love and kindness with you as well.

Place your hand on your heart and repeat after me.

I want to be happy.

I want to be healthy and safe.

I want to be peaceful.

And know that you are filled with the love and kindness that you sent to yourself.

Now keep your hand on your heart.

See if you notice your heart beating,

Filled with all the love and kindness.

And I hope you can feel all of that love and kindness that you shared with your friends,

Your family,

And yourself.

As our meditation comes to a close,

Go ahead and take a deep breath in and out,

Wiggling your toes.

Take another deep breath in and out,

Wiggling your fingers.

Let's take one last deep breath together.

In and out.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes.
