Hello mindful friends.
This is a meditation to calm,
Recenter into ground.
Start by softening the body in whatever form you find yourself in.
Soften the breath.
Soften the mind.
Let the eyelids gently shut.
As you come into your practice,
Sort of tune in to the natural rhythm of the breath.
The soft expansion as you breathe in.
The gentle release as you breathe out.
Tighten the subtle pauses in between each breath.
Give yourself permission here to really feel the full expression.
Not trying to change or control,
But just experiencing the breath exactly as it is.
When we connect to our breath in this way,
We remind ourselves how powerful it is just to be just as we are.
Allow yourself just one more moment here.
And then when you feel ready,
Begin to deepen the breath.
Deep inhale through the nose.
Deep exhale out of the mouth.
And we'll continue just like that.
Breathing in deeply,
Feeling expansion,
And then sighing it out,
Letting it go.
As you breathe in,
Really fill the body with air.
As you breathe out,
Really empty,
Releasing.
We'll take one more.
Let this last breath be the biggest breath you've taken all day.
Deep breath in,
Fill the body with air,
Take in more than you think you can.
Hold at the top,
And then with control,
Let it all go.
Release,
Empty.
Allow the breath to return to normal,
Whatever normal is now.
Gently blink the eyes open.
Come back to the space around you and allow yourself to return to whatever is after this.
