Welcome to this meditation which is called find your balance.

This meditation will help to leave you feeling more grounded and connected back to your center.

Start by making yourself comfortable either in a seated position with your back straight or you can lie down.

Keep your head above your heart as you slowly close your eyes.

Bring your attention to your chest area sensing and feeling your heartbeat.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest with every easy inhale and exhale.

Keep the focus on your heartbeat for a few more breaths as you start to become more settled,

More at ease in this very moment.

Nowhere to be,

Nothing to do,

Just here right now.

As you start to connect back to your inner world and back to yourself.

As you rest here,

Feel your connection into the ground below as it holds you,

Supports you,

Grounds you.

Feel any tensions dissolving,

Dissipating.

Allow any thoughts that enter your mind to just pass you by.

Just like the clouds in the sky,

See them drift by giving no attachment to them.

As the mind clears and you become more present and more relaxed,

Rest here for a few moments in the stillness.

Allow it to soothe you,

Calm you,

Nourish you.

You can now just allow the ordinary,

Everyday world to fade further and further away.

As you rest here,

I'd like you to picture yourself standing outside barefoot on a patch of healthy green grass.

You are standing tall and steady,

Your feet a shoulder width apart,

Your neck muscles start to relax.

You feel happy and calm just by standing on this patch of green,

Fresh grass.

As you stand here,

You feel your feet deeply connected into the ground below.

You now imagine that you have strong roots like a tree in the soles of your feet going deep down into the earth.

As you stand here,

You feel a red grounding energy coming all the way up through the earth into your feet,

Up through your legs and up through your body to the very top of your head.

This red grounding energy makes you feel so strong,

So stable and so safe as you stand here.

And even if the strongest wind were to come along,

You know that your deep connection and firm foundation would keep you steady and keep you safe.

Focus your attention back on your breathing.

On your next inhale,

Start to breathe in this red grounding energy.

See this energy going into every corner of your mind,

Into every cell as it helps to replenish,

Restore and renew anything that needs to be brought back into balance.

I'd like you now to repeat in your mind,

As you inhale,

To repeat in your mind's eye,

Or you can say them out loud,

Following affirmations over and over again.

I am strong.

I am stable.

I am safe.

I have a firm foundation.

I am deeply balanced.

And once more,

I am strong.

I am stable.

I am safe.

I have a firm foundation.

I am deeply balanced.

You now feel stronger and more balanced.

And when you go out into your day,

You remember your deep roots into the earth that will continue to keep you strong,

Stable and deeply balanced in mind,

Body and emotions.

Starting to wiggle your fingers and toes as you gently come back to your full awareness.

Take a final clearing deep breath in,

Filling up your lungs.

And when you are ready,

You can slowly open your eyes.
