This is a short energising breath meditation. Ideal as a quick morning practice to welcome the breath into the body. This one is also a great practice to return to anytime during your day to re-energise and re-focus.

Good morning and welcome to this day.

This is a quick energizing meditation so find a comfortable position where you feel relaxed and alert.

Set the intention of welcoming your breath through your body to energize and lift.

Either with your eyes open and softly focused or closed depending on what feels good for you take a moment to notice how your body is feeling today.

Bring an awareness to your mind and allow any thoughts to simply come and go.

Begin to draw your breath in deeply through the nose to awaken your body and exhale to release any dusty lifeless energy.

Once more drawing in a beautiful deep breath and release.

Allow your awareness to shift now to your body.

Begin to notice those parts of you that are coming into contact with the floor or the surface beneath you holding and supporting your body.

Bring your awareness to the sounds around you as you drop into your precious sense of hearing.

Notice any fragrances in the air,

Any flavors in your mouth and with your eyes just as they are notice what you can see and now place your awareness once again on your breath deeply inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your nose finding a beautiful even flow.

Feel your breath rising as you inhale and releasing as you exhale.

Begin to really feel your breath as it rises and falls.

Feel your breath lifting and expanding your chest,

Your diaphragm drawing the oxygen inwards to flow to every cell in your body awakening and energizing.

Stay here for the next little while with an awareness of your breath.

You you And now allow your focus of your breath to gently fall away.

As you begin to bring a little movement in notice once more how you are feeling in your body and in your mind hopefully strengthened calm and energized as you move on into your day.
