Peace and welcome to this week's meditation.
This week we'll be doing a breathing meditation for inner peace.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
You may sit upright with your spine tall or lie down with your body relaxed.
Let your hands rest gently in your lap or by your sides.
Close your eyes and let's begin.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Breathe in through the nose and when you can take in no more air breathe out through the mouth.
Allow the breath to be your anchor.
With each inhale,
Feel your body filling with a sense of calm.
And with each exhale,
Release tension,
Stress,
And anything that is not serving the greater good.
Now,
I would ask that you settle into a natural rhythm of breathing.
No need to force or control it,
Just observe.
As you breathe,
Bring your attention inward.
Imagine a soft light glowing at the center of your chest.
This light is your inner peace.
It's always been there,
Quiet,
Steady,
Just waiting to be noticed.
With each breath,
Allow this light to grow warmer.
Let it fill your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your entire body.
And I'm going to leave you here for just a few minutes,
Just focusing on that light within,
Filling up as you reach a deeper and deeper place of inner peace.
Remember to allow the breath to be your anchor.
Focus on the breath.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
Filling the entire body with air.
And when you can take no more air in,
Exhale fully and completely out of the mouth.
And as you begin to breathe at your leisure,
Inwardly repeat to yourself,
I am worthy of peace.
I am enough,
Just as I am.
Allow these words to echo in your mind.
And again,
If your thoughts wander,
That's okay.
Gently return to your breath and to the warmth of your inner light.
You are not your mistakes.
Your mistakes are lessons to help you grow.
You are not your doubts.
You are a whole evolving being deserving of love,
Respect,
And everything the universe has to offer each of us.
What does that look like for you?
I'd ask that you take a moment to focus on this and really feel as though you have everything you need because you do.
It's all within you.
Really feel that emotion.
What does it feel like?
Sit with that for just a few moments.
Really basking in that vibration of not having any lack in any area of our lives.
And knowing that we can manifest this reality for ourselves.
Take a deep cleansing breath in through the nose and exhale fully and completely out of the mouth.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Feel the air around you.
You are supported.
You belong.
When you're ready,
Begin to bring movement back into your body,
Wiggling your fingers and toes,
Shrugging your shoulders,
Moving your legs,
Moving your head around.
Remember,
We are not our mistakes.
We are an ever evolving being that deserves inner peace.
Carry this sense of peace with you throughout your day or your evening.
You can return to this place at any time because it lives within you.
