Take a deep breath in through your nose and let it go through your mouth.
And again,
Deep breath in,
Full breath out.
Once more like that,
Inhale,
Exhale.
Now gently seal off your lips while keeping the jaw soft.
Now breathing mindfully in and out through the nose.
Gifting space for your awareness to land fully in this moment.
Acknowledge the energy that you've arrived to your practice with this morning.
Noticing if there's any leftover residue from a recent experience or encounter.
And with your breath just allowing any strings of attachment to the past to begin to dissolve.
Each breath washing over you as though cleansing you to begin this day clear and fresh.
Bring your awareness now to your heart.
Begin to guide the breath in and out through this space.
Each breath softening any sharp edges,
Allowing the energy of your heart to begin to expand.
Cultivating gratitude for this now moment,
For all that exists within and around you.
Observe anything specific that comes to mind.
Continuing to breathe in and out through the heart center.
