Welcome,
This is Nathalie.
If you've been carrying financial worries lately,
You may have noticed that the stress doesn't just stay in your mind.
It can settle within your whole being.
In your body too.
The shoulders stay tense.
The breath becomes shallow.
And the mind keeps worrying and searching for answers,
Even though it doesn't help in that moment.
This constant state of alertness can leave you feeling exhausted,
Disconnected,
And unable to truly rest.
For the next few minutes,
We're giving your nervous system a chance to step out of survival mode and remember what it feels like to be supported.
Because when the body begins to soften,
Clarity often follows naturally.
So allow yourself to simply arrive here.
There is nothing you need to do.
Know where you need to be.
This time is for you.
Find a comfortable position lying on your back.
Take a moment to adjust your body in whatever way feels most supportive.
Allow your arms to rest naturally.
Let your legs fall into a comfortable position.
Feel the surface beneath you completely supporting your weight.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And gently sigh it out through your mouth.
Allowing the body to soften.
Again,
Inhale slowly.
Filling the body with fresh air,
And exhale long and unhurried,
As if you're releasing a little of today's weight.
One more deep inhale.
And a slow,
Gentle exhale.
Letting the shoulders become softer.
The jaw a little looser.
The space around the eyes more relaxed.
Now allow your breath to find its own natural rhythm.
There is nothing you need to control.
Nothing you need to force.
Simply breathing.
Exactly as your body wants to breathe.
Notice the gentle rise of the inhale.
And the soft settling of the exhale.
With every out-breath,
Allow yourself to arrive a little more fully.
Feel the back of your body being held by the ground beneath you.
The back of your head.
The shoulders.
The spine.
The hips.
The backs of the legs.
The heels.
Everything that is touching the ground.
Is already being supported.
You don't have to hold yourself up right now.
You don't have to carry the weight of the day.
For these next few moments.
Allow the ground to carry you.
As you continue breathing,
Imagine the whole body becoming a little heavier.
A little softer.
With every slow exhale.
Your breath becomes quieter.
Your body becomes.
Calmer.
Your nervous system begins to recognize.
That in this moment.
You're just safe.
To rest.
Now bring your awareness to your body.
There is nothing to change.
Nothing to fix.
Simply noticing.
Softening.
Allowing Bring your attention to your jaw.
See if you can unclench it just a little.
Let your lips part naturally.
Feel the tongue resting heavily in the mouth.
Now,
Notice the muscles around your eyes relaxing.
Allow the eyes to sink back into their sockets.
The eyelids becoming pleasantly heavy.
The forehead smooth.
The temples,
Soft.
The scalp relaxing.
As if the whole head is slowly letting go.
Now bring awareness to your neck and your shoulders.
Perhaps they've been carrying more than they needed to.
With your next exhale,
Allow them to soften downward.
Just a little.
No effort.
Simply allowing gravity to help.
Bring awareness to your chest.
Feel it gently expanding as you breathe in.
Softening as you breathe out.
There is nothing you need to protect in this moment.
Your body knows how to breathe.
Your heart knows how to rest.
Now bring awareness to your belly.
Allow it to become soft.
No holding.
No bracing.
If it feels comfortable.
Place one hand gently over your abdomen.
Feel the warmth of your hand.
Gentle movement of your breath.
With every exhale.
The belly loosens a little more.
Now your hips.
Heavy.
Supported.
Completely held by the earth beneath you.
Your thighs.
Knees calves.
Hang cold.
All softening.
Nothing to carry.
Nothing to push.
Nothing to prepare for.
Now your feet.
The heels.
The soles of the feet.
The toes.
Feel the weight of the entire lower body resting effortlessly.
Imagine the ground beneath you.
Steady.
Strong.
Unchanging.
Always there to support you.
Finally.
Feel your whole body.
From the crown of your head.
To the soles of your feet.
Breathing.
Resting.
Being supported.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Nothing else you need to hold.
Just this breath.
Just this moment.
Just this gentle feeling of being held.
Now.
Imagine yourself resting beneath a large,
Old tree.
No need to picture every detail.
Simply sensing its quiet presence.
Nearby.
A large,
Old tree.
Strong.
Steady.
Unhurried.
The tree isn't rushing.
It isn't trying to figure everything out.
It doesn't pull on its branches.
Or worry about its roots.
It simply rests.
Deeply connected to the earth beneath it.
Take a slow breath in.
And,
As you exhale,
Allow yourself to borrow just a little of that steadiness.
Inhale,
Receiving support.
Exhale.
Settling.
Again,
Inhale,
Receiving support.
Exhale,
Softening.
Feel the ground beneath the tree.
Steady.
Reliable.
Always there.
Supporting the tree.
Just as the ground is supporting you now.
With every exhale.
Allow a little more of your weight to be received by the earth.
You don't have to hold yourself quite so tightly.
You don't have to carry everything by yourself.
For this moment,
You are being held.
Inhale,
Receiving support.
Exhale,
Settling into the support.
Inhale,
Steady.
Exhale,
Grounded.
Inhale,
Receiving safety.
Exhale,
Settling deeper.
For this moment,
Let the ground carry what you've been carrying.
Again,
Inhale,
Steady.
Exhale,
Grounded.
Inhale,
Steady.
Exhale.
Grounded.
The breath becoming slower.
The body becoming quieter.
Like the tree.
You don't need to force yourself to stand tall.
Support already exists beneath you.
Simply allow yourself to receive it.
Feel your whole body.
Heavy.
Stable.
Deeply supported.
As if invisible roots are gently growing downward.
Simply resting.
And the quiet steadiness beneath you.
Stay here.
Breathing.
Resting.
Support it.
There's nothing more to do.
Simply resting.
Notice the quiet rhythm of your breath.
Effortless.
Gentle.
Natural.
The body already knows how to soften.
How to settle.
How to rest.
You don't need to guide the process anymore.
Allow yourself to simply receive this moment.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Resting.
Perhaps noticing.
A little more space inside the body.
A little more ease.
A little more softness.
Without trying.
Without effort.
Simply allowing.
Rest here.
For a few quiet moments.
Breathing.
Resting.
The earth holds you.
Begin to notice the gentle weight of your body once again.
The surface beneath you.
Supporting you.
The natural rhythm.
Of your breath.
The air touching your skin.
The sounds around you.
And without rushing.
Simply becoming aware of this moment.
Notice how your body feels now.
Perhaps a little softer.
A little steadier.
A little more settled than before.
Remember that this feeling isn't something you have to create.
It's something your body already knows.
Each time you pause.
Each time you allow yourself to rest.
You're strengthening your ability to return here.
To meet life from a place that feels a little more grounded.
A little more spacious.
More resourced.
Begin to invite small movements back into your body.
Perhaps gently wiggling your fingers.
Your toes.
Maybe rolling the shoulders.
Taking one slow,
Nourishing breath.
And when you feel ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Take your time.
Carry this steadiness with you.
Knowing you can return to this practice whenever you need a moment to reconnect with yourself.
Thank you so much for being here.
