This is Niamh.

Welcome.

Tonight we are settling in to the body's intelligence of deep rest for full moon absorption.

So make sure your body is completely comfortable.

Adjust your head,

Shoulders and hips as you prepare your nidra cocoon.

And sense into the weight of the body drawing deep into the earth beneath you.

Allow the feet to flop out and palms skyward facing.

Relax your jaws.

Allow your tongue to float up to the roof of your mouth.

Sensing the lips and the space in between.

Sensing cool or warm air in the nostrils.

Each exhale is a letting go.

Each inhale invites deep breath.

Allow the eyes to fall back into the sockets.

Allowing the eyes to soften and to seep like water.

Calming the mind.

Take a few moments to notice your emotional tone.

Listening.

And now take a breath in through your nose.

On the exhale,

Sigh.

Allow prana to infuse all of your layers.

Again,

Breathe in and sigh on your exhale.

And one more in.

Rest your awareness on the crown.

Weave a circle of light around the body.

Front to back.

Left to right.

Now rest awareness on the chest.

Notice the natural rhythms of breath inside the chest.

Locate a point of singularity inside the centre of the chest.

Just as you would point your finger to the moon at night.

And then watch the breath flow through that point.

Effortlessly flowing in and out.

And out.

Release.

Begin sensing the heart through feeling sensation.

Drawing even more deeper into and by the magnetic pull of your true calling.

If your true calling has not yet come to light,

You might like to mentally whisper a vow.

Such as,

I am full of light.

Or,

I am worthy to receive light.

Or,

I am fully whole and nourished.

If any of those vows resonate with you,

You can repeat mentally now to the heart three times.

And then again settle into the natural rhythms of the breath inside the chest.

Your breath,

A luminous ribbon,

Weaves within and around you.

Let's begin to weave this light of awareness throughout the body.

Listening to my voice.

Sensing the right hand.

Listening to feeling sensation in the palm of the hand.

And the light of awareness flowing to the thumb,

Index finger,

Middle ring,

Little finger,

Back of the hand,

Wrist,

Elbow crease,

Shoulder,

Underarm,

Right side of the chest,

Chest,

Waist,

Hip,

Thigh,

Knee,

Lower leg,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole of the foot,

All five toes.

Sensing the left hand.

Listening to feeling sensation in the palm of the hand.

And the light of awareness flowing to the thumb,

Index finger,

Middle ring,

Little finger,

Back of the hand,

Wrist,

Elbow crease,

Shoulder,

Underarm,

Left side of the chest,

Waist,

Hip,

Thigh,

Knee,

Lower leg,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole of the foot,

All five toes.

Bringing awareness to the subtle sensation of the breath,

The rise and the fall of the belly.

Become aware of the whole right side of the body,

The whole left side of the body,

The rise and the fall of the belly,

The whole front of the body,

And the whole back body.

A luminous ribbon weaving together front and sides of the body.

Sensing into the subtle breath,

Feeling the body breathing itself,

Breathing in all directions,

Breathing in all directions from the inside out.

Now welcome the feeling of light in your body.

Sensing all of the places where light shines inside your body.

Feeling all of the residing light within your body.

Could you sense?

Are you entering a field of light,

Or is light entering you?

Now welcome the feeling of darkness in the body.

Sensing all of the places of darkness.

Feeling places of residing darkness hidden within the body.

All of the tissues.

All of the folds.

All of the folds.

Could you sense?

Is it you entering a field of darkness,

Or is darkness entering you?

Coming back to the feeling of light in your body,

And then welcoming darkness again.

Can you sense both light and dark simultaneously?

Imagining your body as dark as mystical black space.

The physical outline of your body disappearing.

Welcoming more spaciousness.

How does it feel to expand like space?

And now light.

Luminous light.

Absorbing into every cell.

Every single molecule.

Feel the absorption of light.

Release.

Allow awareness to peel back and rest into open space.

Could you bring attention to the light of the mind's eye?

I'm watching the rising moon.

The rising moon now high in the night sky.

And below a perfectly round lake.

Reflecting a perfectly round silver mirror.

See yourself in the centre.

Floating in the centre.

Moon on your face.

Lighting you up.

Lighting you up.

The scent of night flowers.

Jasmine and hyacinth circle the lake.

Gigantic granite rocks shimmer at the lake's edge.

And the watery moonshine sparkling.

The absorption of light.

Could you recall your vow?

And whisper to your heart.

I am full of light.

Or I am worthy to receive light.

Or I am fully whole and nourished.

And repeat three times.

And watch how your vow radiates through your body's layers.

Through your auric field.

Rippling out just as the moon's halo beams and dazzles the night sky.

Like a pulse.

Your vow a living pulse.

Rippling out into a field of light.

Begin sensing the supporting earth beneath your body.

Sensing yourself held by the earth beneath your body.

And slowly bringing small movements back into your fingers and your toes.

And take your time to awaken the body.
