Confidence Building Guided Meditation Welcome,
I'm Nikki Sutton.
Please refrain from listening,
While driving,
Or doing anything else.
Make sure you'll be undisturbed.
Dim the lights,
And lay or sit in a very comfortable position.
Close your eyes,
And follow the sound of my voice.
Before we begin,
I'll just explain.
There is usually a cause for us lacking in confidence.
It may be because we lacked encouragement,
Validation,
And reassurance growing up.
Or we were subject to ongoing criticism,
Disappointment,
Or instability,
Any time up until now.
There may also have been a one-time event that has knocked our confidence.
Whatever it may be,
It can be identified and released,
So that we can draw a line under it,
And move forward.
So as well as this meditation addressing this,
We'll also go for some confidence building.
This meditation can be performed more than once.
If you have trouble visualizing,
Just use your sense of knowing about what's going on.
Now let's relax you down,
So that your subconscious mind is accessible.
I want you to take a deep breath in now,
And as you breathe out,
Blow away any stress or tension.
Take another deep breath in,
And as you breathe out,
Feel your body totally relax.
And one more deep breath in,
And as you breathe out,
Begin to realize your infinite potential.
I want you to feel a slow wave of relaxation passing down through your body,
Starting at the top of your head,
Relaxing your facial muscles,
Your brow,
Your jaw,
And your neck.
Feel them totally relax.
This wave of relaxation passes down through your shoulders,
Your chest,
And your arms to your fingertips.
Feel these areas grow heavy as they release all tension.
This wave of relaxation moves down through your lower back,
Your stomach,
And your pelvic area,
Unwinding and settling,
Releasing any negative energy now.
Moving on down,
This wave of wonderful relaxation moves through your thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
And shins,
And through your ankles and feet.
Your legs grow heavy now,
As your whole body sinks down,
Drifting deeper and deeper into a wonderful deep state of relaxation.
You are feeling very calm and relaxed now,
And from now on,
Every time you hear the words calm and relaxed,
You will drift deeper and deeper into a deep,
Deep state of relaxation.
Every time you hear the words calm and relaxed,
You will drift deeper and deeper.
In a moment,
I'll count you down,
And you will find yourself on a pleasant balcony of a beautiful building,
Overlooking the most wondrous view.
Here we go.
Ten,
Nine,
Eight,
Drifting deeper and deeper,
Seven,
Six,
Five,
Drifting down,
Down,
Four,
Three,
Two,
Deeper now,
One,
And find yourself on a pleasant white balcony,
Fairly spacious,
Overlooking the most wonderful view you've ever seen.
Observe the beautiful view for a moment.
What can you see?
The sun is gently shining.
You can see greenery all around.
There's a pleasant smell of blossoms in the air.
Observe the balcony and the building now.
It feels very comfortable and peaceful there.
It's a beautiful day.
There's no one else around in this beautiful place.
It's just you,
Relaxing and taking it easy.
In a moment,
We'll perform some healing in this visualization.
But as you stand there in your pleasant surroundings,
Know that you are safe,
Protected and loved.
See in front of you now on the balcony,
A marble stand about shoulder height ahead of you.
On this marble stand is a glass ball about the size of a soccer ball or basketball.
Approach this glass ball now and peer into it.
In the glass ball,
You see an image forming.
It's a memory of yours.
See yourself in a memory where something or someone significantly knocked your confidence.
A memory of a circumstance or situation where your confidence was reduced.
See this memory now in the glass ball playing out.
Now say to this memory,
Either in your mind or out loud,
I release this as I move forward with confidence.
Go ahead.
This signifies that you're about to release this memory and its influence on you.
We can be shaped by our past experiences,
Instilling in us limiting beliefs about ourselves.
By releasing these memories and reconciling them,
We can move forward in confidence.
Now,
Pick up the ball,
This ball containing the memory.
It's pretty light and walk over to the edge of the balcony,
To the railings.
As you look over the side,
You see that there's a marble terrace below.
There's no one around.
In a moment,
I'll ask you to throw the ball over the side of the balcony,
And it will smash onto the terrace below.
This action signifies you releasing the event seen in the ball so that it no longer influences how you feel today,
Freeing you to build your own confidence.
Go ahead now,
Drop the ball over the balcony.
Watch it fall to the terrace below,
Smashing into millions of pieces.
Look down over the railings and see the pieces of the glass ball are vanishing into nothingness until every piece has disappeared altogether,
And it is gone.
This action signifies the release of the influence from those past experiences and symbolizes your new freedom.
Now,
Being present in the pleasant surroundings of the balcony,
Overlooking this beautiful view,
You see a comfortable chair beside you.
Take a seat and get comfortable.
Take in the beautiful view once more.
What do you see in the distance?
Feel the sun just shining down gently onto your face as you drift deeply into a very calm,
And relaxed feeling.
Now,
Say after me,
Either within your mind or out loud,
I am free to build confidence.
I can be confident.
I am confident.
I have many wonderful qualities.
I am very capable.
I am a unique,
Infinite being.
I have the right to be me.
I have great personal power.
I move forward in love and understanding.
I am confident.
Well done.
Now,
I want you to take three deep breaths,
Breathing in healing prana energy to heal your confidence and to breathe out all that no longer serves you.
Here we go.
