As it's currently Mercury retrograde,
For some people that can mean quite a big deal,
For others never heard of it.
But in astrology,
Mercury retrograde can be affecting communication,
Travel,
Technology,
Contracts,
Thinking,
Decision making.
So it's a time to double check emails,
Back up important files and just take some extra time when looking over things.
So I thought today would be an apt day to record a yoga nidra for mercury retrograde.
So a time to slow down,
Reflect,
Reline and renew.
So I want you to get really comfortable lying down on your back in Shavasana.
Allow your feet to fall open naturally,
Your arms resting slightly away from your body.
Palms facing upward.
And take any final movements.
Or help your body become completely comfortable.
Once you've settled,
Gently close your eyes down.
There is nowhere to go.
Nothing to achieve.
Nothing to fix.
This is your time to simply receive.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through the nose.
And then exhale gently through the mouth.
Again,
Breathing in calm.
And then breathing out everything you no longer need to carry.
One more deep breath.
As you exhale.
Surrender your body completely to the earth beneath you.
Feel yourself being held.
Safe.
Support it.
Completely at ease.
Today we practice.
During the energy of mercury rupture grades.
A sacred invitation.
To pause.
Rather than push.
To listen.
Rather than react.
And to reconnect with the wisdom.
Already lives within you.
Mercury retrograde reminds us.
Clarity often arrives through stillness.
Allow yourself to soften into that stillness now.

What is ready to be understood.
What am I invited to release?
What truth is waiting patiently inside me.
Just allow one simple intention to arise.
Perhaps I trust divine timing.
I communicate with love and clarity.

And just let it come into your life.

You reach the centre of the bridge.
A beautiful silver light appears above you.
This is the light of Mercury.

Reflective and clear.
The light gently pours over your head.
Relaxing your mind.

Healing old conversations.
Releasing regrets.
Opening space for truth.
